Installation Considerations
The installation, operation, and maintenance of the product should be performed only by
qualified, competent personnel that have received appropriate training for high voltage and
current devices.
Caution
During normal operation of the product, hazardous voltages are present on the
terminals that connect PT/CT, digital inputs, power, and external I/O circuits. The PT/CT
secondary can produce lethal voltage or current caused by the energy of the primary.
Standard safety precautions should be followed during the installation and maintenance
of the product, including removing PT fuses and shorting CT secondaries.
Install the product in enclosures or a similar cabinet to prevent access to the terminal
strips of the product after wiring.

Caution
Observe the following instructions, or it may cause permanent damage to the product.
Do not apply voltages and currents that exceed the input ratings of the PT and CT to the
product.
Using the device for other purposes not specified by the manufacturer can cause severe
damage to the product.
Connect the chassis ground terminal of the product to the earth ground to protect the
device from noise and surge. Failure to properly connect the chassis ground will void
the warranty of the product.

Warranty
Rootech Inc. provides warrants for two years from the product receipt date only to the original
purchaser of the products and software that are sold or licensed by the company.
To obtain warranty service, the purchased products should be free from serious defects in material
and workmanship.
The software is provided in an up-to-date version, thus we do not offer any warranty for the
software product.
In order to make a product claim under the warranties described above, the original purchaser
should immediately contact Rootech headquarters. Upon receiving claims, Rootech will check out
the product either at where the purchaser is or at the company after receiving the product from
the customer, who is responsible for the cost of shipping the product. After inspecting the product,
we will provide repair or replacement services for the product.
Rootech will decide at its discretion whether to repair or replace it or give a refund for the product
for when the warranty period for the product expired or issues related to the product are not
applicable for warranty terms and conditions.
Limitation of Warranty
The Warranty does not apply to uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product or cover
normal wear and tear of the product or costs caused by the removal, installation, or
troubleshooting of the customer's electrical systems.
Defects caused by any of the following factors are not covered under the warranty.
Improper use(alteration, accident, misuse, abuse) or failure to act in accordance with
installation, operation or maintenance instructions
Unauthorized modifications, changes or repair attempts
Failure to comply with applicable safety standards & regulations
Damages coming from when transporting or storing the product
Damages caused by the force majeure event, including fire, flood, earthquakes, storm
damage, overvoltage & lightning

If the original identification marks(trade-mark, serial number, etc.) have been defaced,
altered, or removed
Rootech shall not be liable for any other claims except the claims made by customers, including
the original purchaser, his employees, agents, or contractors for any loss, damage, or expense
incurred related to the purchased product when the above warranty terms and conditions are not
fulfilled.
Any technical assistance with system design provided by Rootech's personnel or representatives
shall be deemed to be a suggestion. The original purchaser is responsible for determining the
feasibility of such suggestions and should conduct tests to prove their feasibility.
It is the original purchaser’s responsibility to determine the suitability of the product and
associated documentation. The original purchaser should acknowledge that 100% up time is not
realizable because of possible hardware or software defects. The original purchaser should
recognize that such defects and failures may cause inaccuracies or malfunctions.
No agency, corporate entity, or employee of Rootech or other companies has authority to amend,
modify or extend the terms and conditions of this warranty in any way without express written
authorization from Rootech, Inc.

Chapter 1 Introduction
Overview
Simultaneous Display of Voltage, Current, Power, and Energy
Unlike Accura 3300 which only displays the values measured on three phases for a selected
parameter, Accura 3300S simultaneously displays data on major measurement parameters,
including voltage, current, power, energy, power factor, and frequency on the screen.
Integrated Measurements of Various Electrical Parameters
Accura 3300S is a high accuracy digital power meter tailored for reliable measurements and
accurate analysis of power consumption. Installed in factories, power and generator panels in
buildings, etc, the device performs integrated measurements of various power parameters,
including voltage, current, power, frequency, and power factor.
Accurate Measurements
Measurement accuracy is a key factor that determines the reliability of energy management
systems. Low measurement accuracy causes inconsistency between the energy of the incoming
feeder and the sum of energy measured on the load side. It makes it difficult to perform reliable
energy management. Accura 3300S provides highly accurate measurements of voltage and
current (±0.2% of reading) and meets IEC 62053-22 class 0.5S for power and energy
measurements. It helps to address problems caused by measurement errors and allows for
efficient energy management.
Power Quality Data Available
Accura 3300S provides power quality data such as voltage/current THD, harmonics, and K-Factor.
Proven Safety and Reliability with CE/UL Certifications
The internal and external structures, including the design of the product and circuit of Accura
3300S meet safety requirements for CE(IEC 61010) and UL(UL 61010-2, 2nd edition) standards.
The busbar provided with the product allows for easier wiring of CTs when installing the product.

Applications
True RMS Measurements
Nonlinear loads mainly used in the field include rectifiers and electric furnaces and cause
harmonics that involve severe voltage and current waveform distortion. Accura 3300S performs
true RMS measurements for voltage and current waveforms distorted due to harmonics.
Power Quality Analysis
Accura 3300S provides data on voltage and current THD and K-Factor and allows for the analysis
of voltage and current harmonics up to the 31st order. It allows for effective analysis of power
quality by providing real time data on voltage and current waveforms.
Ideal for Replacing Analog Meters
Accura 3300S meets both ANSI C39.1(4" Round) and DIN 96 standards for installation. It features
the installation dimensions same as those of analog meters. Thus, there is no need to create
cutouts on the panel when installing Accura 3300S in the existing switchgear panels. It makes it
easy to replace analog meters with digital meters.
Highly Reliable Energy Management
Energy management include monitoring energy consumption, managing energy costs and energy
demand, replacing energy facilities, and performing energy planning. In this regard,
measurement accuracy is a key factor that determines the reliability of energy management
systems. Accura 3300S provides highly accurate measurements of voltage and current(±0.2% of
reading) and meets IEC 62053-22 class 0.5S for power and energy measurements. It allows for
efficient energy management through accurate measurements.

Chapter 2 Mounting
Environmental Conditions
The Accura 3300S should be mounted in a dry, dirt free location away from heat sources and very
high electric fields. To operate properly and effectively, environmental conditions should range

Caution
The meter should be installed in a switchgear cabinet or similar enclosure to ensure the terminal
strips on the meter base are not user accessible after installation.
Mount the meter in a dry location free from dirt and corrosive vapors. Once installed, no cleaning
of the device is necessary.

Step 1: Panel Mounting
Sequence
1. Remove connector on the bottom of the meter.
2. Fit the meter into cutout[ANSI 4 or DIN96].
3. Fix the meter onto the panel by turning the mounting nut. When conforming to the
DIN96 standard, there is no need to drill holes on the panel.

Caution
In three phase 3 wire open delta direct connection mode, line to line voltage should not exceed
457V because the voltage is applied to the inputs of phase voltage.
PT[Potential Transformer]
PTs are required for all systems with voltage levels greater than these above. The meter inputs can
be used with PTs that have secondaries rated between AC 0V and 457V. PTs should comply with
IEC 61010-1 2nd Edition, Pollution Degree 2, Overvoltage Category .
Caution
In case where PTs are required, fuses should be installed on the secondary of the PTs.
