QUINTUM TO ANNOUNCE NEW SOFTWARE ENHANCEMENTS!
We have been diligently working to enhance the software for our Tenor VoIP MultiPath Switches
(AS/AX/BX/DX and CMS) ….and it will be making its debut later this month!
New SIP features: Blind Call Transfer to transfer to third party without discussion; Consultative Call
Transfer to transfer after discussion with third party; Call Hold/Drop and Call Waiting; Support for
DNS Addressing to route calls using URLs; Security Enhancements to accept calls only from selected
proxy; Enhanced Caller ID and Caller Name Display; Support for Multiple User Agents (96 for DX and
192 for CMS); and Enhanced DN Channel Mapping to map DNs to UA’s.
Enhancements: Support for the following: The new AXT4800 (48 Port FXO Gateway) and Unified’s
SS7 Signaling Gateway (DX and CMS Only). In addition there is support for more mapped ports (120
for DX and 960 for CMS); Number Rollover Routing; Enhanced Dial Plan/Tone Management for
international deployments; a simple configuration wizard; and finally, an IP Discovery Protocol to
eliminate the need for RS232 serial port console.
New Easy to Use Configuration Wizard: The new Tenor configuration wizard
automatically starts up whenever a new analog or digital Tenor is introduced to a
network. The Wizard will allow you to configure AS and AX Tenors for basic application.
QUINTUM TO ANNOUNCE NEW TENOR AXT 4800
Quintum will be announcing a line extension to our Tenor AX. The Tenor AXT 4800
offers up to 48 FXO/0 FXS connections for trunking applications. The new AXT will
give service providers the ability to terminate large numbers of PSTN lines. Whether
providing termination or calling card services, the AXT is the perfect fit for large
numbers of analog connections. The new Tenor AXT 4800 will be announced at the Internet Telephony
show in LA.
