Alpha Series LED Flat Panel

The FPL LED Panel Light must be installed by a qualied electrician in accordance with applicable federal,
state, and local laws and codes. Installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems and installer
should be familiar with the operation of this product. If not qualied, do not attempt installation; contact a
qualied electrician. Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for the improper installation of this luminaire.
When installing the xture, drilling may damage luminaire wiring and electrical parts. Check for wiring and
components in enclosure before drilling. Before installation or maintenance, please disconnect the power to
prevent electric shock.
WARNING
To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

- Wear gloves or proper handling protection to prevent cuts or abrasions when handling and maintaining this
product. This equipment may have sharp edges. To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property
damage from re, electirc shock, falling parts, cuts/abrassions, and other hazards read all warning and
instructions included with and on the xture box and all xture labels.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.

- Green ground screw provided in proper location. Do not relocate.
- Minimum 90° supply conductors.

Recessed Installation Steps:
1. Bend out mounting tab 90 degrees on each corner
2. Use side cutters to adjust each tab to height of T-grid. Lay xture into T-grid grid.
3. Ben tabs ush against T-grid in order to clear corner for ceiling tile.
4. Ensure that the wiring of the last xture in the row is properly terminated. Then make all
electrical connections to the xture. Attach the wiring access cover plate.
Surface Mount Installation Steps (Required additional kit from manufacturer):
1. Put the four peices of frame together and x them by screws.
2. Fix the frame onto the wall by screws.
CAUTION
1. Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
2. Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children
3. Disconnect power and allow xture to cool before changing bulb or handing xture.

3. Dismantle one piece of frame and put the LED panel into the frame.
4. Fix the frame by putting back the dismantled part.
Note:The drivers and connector must be xed to the back of LED panel by adhesive tape.
Suspension Mount Installation Steps (Required additional kit from manufacturer):
1. Mark xing positions on the ceiling. Ensure the holes does not impinge on joists, pipe work, cables or other building services.
2. Attach base of suspension kit to the ceiling using the screws provided and secured.
Attach suspension wire to base and screw in tight.
3. Attach the four brackets to the two sides of panel and secured.
5. Attach suspension wire and hook the triangle on four plates.
6. Adjust length of suspension wire by pressing nipple on top. Ensure both wires are same length.
7. Connect power.
Note: The drivers and connector must be xed to the back of the panel by adhesive tape.

Wiring Diagram: ON-OFF Wiring
Follow the wiring directions as in g. 1.
1. Connect the black xture lead to the
LINE supply lead.
2. Connect the white xture lead to the
COMMON/NEUTRAL supply lead.
3. Connect the GROUND wire from xture
to supply ground.
0-10V Dimmable Wiring
Follow the wiring directions as in g. 1.
1. Connect the black xture lead to the (+)
LINE supply lead.
2. Connect the white xture lead to the (-)
COMMON supply lead.
3. Connect the GROUND wire from xture
to supply ground. Do NOT connect the
GROUND of the dimming xture to the
output.
4. Connect the purple xture lead to the
(V+) DIM lead.
5. Connect the gray xture lead to the (V-)
DIM lead.
