Overflow Pipes in WTM & RTC/WTC
Model
Whole Modular Rack Type range (Electrolux WTM series) and Compact Rack
Type range (Zanussi RTC series and Electrolux WTC series).
Problem
Water leakage from the door.
Reason
Bubble of air between overflow pipe and tank filter against water coming from
pre-wash/wash arms
in case of any siphon in drain pipes.
Action in
Factory
Since serial number 71300001 we have introduced 10 mm shorter overflow
pipes as follow:

Action in
Field
New overflow pipes are not interchangeable towards old ones unless to
upgrade the Master firmware at least to 1.52 for Modular Rack Type
(Electrolux WTM series) and 1.53 for Compact Rack Type (Zanussi RTC
series and Electrolux WTC series).
This because only firmwares from 1.52 onwards contain visible and modifiable
tank levels (both maximum level and working level). Therefore new overflow
pipes need firmware from 1.52 onwards with working water level according
to the service manual.
