management system for the NCR 7448 Workstation which operates efficiently

Chapter 1: Product Overview
Introduction
The NCR 7448 Workstation is based on standard PC technology and designed
to satisfy the needs of the department store, mass merchandise, food distribution
retail markets and food service industry.
The NCR 7448 Workstation features a MEDIA-GX 300 or 333 MHz processor
board and compatible BIOS. The power management strategy is developed
around the Intel/ Microsoft Advanced Power Management (APM)
specification.
Personality Board and PCMCIA Expansion Board are available for the
processor board to provide RS-232 ports for NCR 7448 peripherals.
The NCR 7448 Workstation uses the NCR 7448 Retail Solution (RS) or ISV
Application on MS-DOS and Windows CE.
Release 1.1 provides a 3.5 inch Hard Disk Drive to support Windows 98 and
MS-DOS.

Release 1.4 provides a MEDIA-GX 333 MHz processor board and a 256MB
SDRAM for Windows 98 platform.
