Before using this product, it is essential to read the ENTIRE Owner’s Manual and ALL
installation instructions. The Owner’s Manual describes equipment setup and instructs
members on how to use correctly and safely.
Read all warnings posted on the machine.
Health related injuries may result from incorrect or excessive use of exercise equipment.
Core Health & Fitness strongly recommends you to encourage your members to discuss their
health program or fitness regimen with a health care professional, especially if you or they
have not exercised for several years, are over 35, or have known health conditions.
WARNING!
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER - to reduce the risk of electrical
shock:
1. Always unplug the machine from the electrical
outlet before cleaning or servicing.
2. This product is factory-equipped with a specific
DC Power Supply to permit connection to the
proper electric circuit. Make sure that the product
is connected to a dedicated power line having an
outlet with the same configuration as that of the
plug.
3. Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.
Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman
if you are in doubt as to whether the product
is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug
provided with the product. NO adapter should
be used with this product. If the product must
be reconnected for use on a different type of
electric circuit, the reconnection should be made
by qualified service personnel in order to avoid a
hazard.
4. This machine is not intended to be serviced by
the end user, refer servicing to qualified personnel
only.
5. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent,
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
hazard.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Unplug power cord when the machine is
unattended and before performing any
preventative maintenance such as cleaning or
replacing a worn part.
7. Do not operate unit in damp or wet locations.

Required Clearance
1. Assemble and operate the machine on a solid
level surface. Position the machine with a
minimum of 24 inches (0.6 meters) of clearance
on each side to allow for ease of mounting and
dismounting. Allow for 24 inches (0.6 meters) of
clearance behind the machine. Leave a minimum
of 19.7 inches (0.5 meters) between two adjacent
units. These dimensions are the recommended
minimum distances.
The actual area for access and passage shall be
the responsibility of the facility and should take
into account this training envelope, Americans
with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines
(ADAAG) requirements and any required local
codes or regulations (www.access-board.gov/
ada).

2. Do not exceed the maximum allowable weight
limit of:
4-CT - 450 lbs. / 204 kg.
3. Care should be used when mounting or
dismounting the equipment. Before mounting or
dismounting, move the pedal on the mounting or
dismounting side to its lowest position and bring
the machine to a complete stop.
4. This unit is not equipped with a free-wheel. Pedal
speed should be reduced in a controlled manner.
5. Obtain a medical exam before beginning any
exercise program. If at any time during exercise
you feel faint, dizzy, or experience pain, stop and
consult your physician.
6. Keep children away.
7. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while
using the machine.
8. Do not operate the machine if the motor shroud
is removed or if the power cord is damaged in
any manner. Keep all air openings free from dirt
or any material that would block the flow of air to
the motor.
9. The safety and integrity of this machine can only
be maintained when the equipment is regularly
examined for damage and wear and repaired.
It is the sole responsibility of the owner of this
equipment to ensure that regular maintenance
is performed. Worn or damaged parts must be
replaced immediately or the equipment removed
from service until the repair is made.
10. WARNING: Heart rate monitoring systems
may be inaccurate. Over-exercising may result
in serious injury or death. If you feel faint stop
exercising immediately.
11. Caution: unit is heavy and requires two people
for assembly.
12. After assembly, a complete visual inspection,
and test of the features and functions of the
assembled unit must be made prior to use.

PROCEDURE
1. Unpack all parts and inspect for
damage.
2. Route the wires through the mast
beauty ring (740-9382-XX), then up and
out of the top of the mast.
3. Once the wires are routed, insert the
mast (740-9370) into the base frame.

4. Use a 6mm allen key to finish securing
the mast to the base frame using four
(4) pieces each of the M8 x 20mm
socket head cap screw (730-0889) and
M8 counter-bore washer (718-5693).

5. Use a 4mm allen key to secure the M8
x 40mm set screw (740-4593) into the
mast.

6. Use a 15mm socket to secure the left
side handlebar (740-9363-XX) to the
mast using one (1) piece each of the
M10 x 25mm hex head screw (110-
4082) and handlebar end cap (740-
9376-XX).

7. Use a 19mm socket and a 19mm open-
ended wrench to secure the handlebar
to the tie rod using one (1) piece each
of the M12 x 45mm hex head screw
(110-4138) and the M12 nyloc nut (110-
3929), and two (2) pieces of the M12
flat washer (120-3411).
8. Repeat Step 6 & Step 7 for the right
side handlebar (740-9358-XX).

9. Use a short or 90-degree #2 phillips
screwdriver to secure the right side tie
rod shrouds (740-9553-XX + 740-9554-
XX) to the joint where the tie rod and
handlebar meet using three (3) pieces
of the M4.2 x 38mm pan head screw.
10. Repeat for the left side tie rod shrouds
(740-9551-XX + 740-9552-XX).

11. Use a 5mm allen key to secure the
display weldment (740-9350) to the
mast using four (4) pieces each of the
M8 x 15mm button head screw (110-
4023) and M8 flat washers (731-0355).

12. Unpack the console, console mounting
screws, and console install wiring
instructions (620-8657) from the
console box.
13. Set the lower rear display panel (701-
0345-XX) into place on the mast, then
install the back console shroud (701-
0344-XX).

14. Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to attach
the back shroud of the console to the
console mount using eight (8) of the #8-
18 x 3/4” screws (110-3402).

15. Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to secure
the rear display panel to the back
shroud using four (4) of the #8-18 x 3/8”
pan head screws (731-0584).

16. Plug the three cables from Fig. 17 into
the console as indicated in Fig. 18.
Note: Lines E & F indicate the wiring
path from the board to the rear console
jacks.

17. Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to attach
the console front (701-0324-XX) to the
back shroud using six (6) of the #8-18 x
3/4” screws (110-3402).

18. Once the machine is in its final position,
level the unit by turning the four leveling
feet on the bottom rear of the frame
until all four feet are contacting the floor
and the unit is stable.
19. Use a 19mm open-ended wrench
to tighten the lock nut to ensure the
leveling feet are locked into position.

20. Install Console. For 10” touchscreen,
skip ahead to page 13.

a. On the numeric keypad, press
and hold the , and
keys together. The Service Menu
will display.

b. Use direction buttons to navi-
gate.
c. Press the button to enter
Maintenance Mode.

d. Use the arrow keys to highlight
MODEL then press .
e. Use the arrow keys to highlight
4CT then press to confirm
the selection.

a. Touch the top left corner, then
the center and then the top left
corner again. The Service Menu
will display.
