Using the OSD - example: Adjust the image quality
Use the example included here as a model for conguring other OSD options. NOTE: For clarity, screen
captures used here show only the OSD menus. A live video image normally appears the background.
The default camera settings produce optimal image quality for most applications. However, some
environments may have conditions the camera can be adjusted to compensate for. Also, it can be
congured to reect or mirror the image to provide a more realistic view. Use the following steps to make
whatever adjustments are needed to improve the video image. Perform the following during “normal”
lighting conditions in the eld of view.
1. Remove the camera dome cover assembly to access the OSD joystick.
2. Press the joystick in toward the mounting base to open the OSD menu. The main menu option
highlighted in yellow indicates the current selection.
