1.1 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on the purchase of a high quality SportsArt accessory the CardioActive
Entertainment Station for the T672 treadmill The CardioActive Entertainment Station is
an integrated TV station for use on several SportsArt products Constructed of high
quality materials and designed for years of reliable performance this accessory was
made for full commercial use
Before this product is assembled or operated we recommend that you familiarize
yourself with this manual Understanding the correct assembly and operation of this
product will help ensure that you get optimum results
Please note that SportsArt products use two types of boards for iPod devices One board
only has audio functions The other board has audio and video functions Only the audio
video board is suitable for use with the integrated TV module Do not use the audio only
board with the integrated TV module

1.3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Follow instructions below to assemble this product. Note that in this manual the words
“left” and “right” are used to refer to the product and its parts. As such, these
designations correspond to the “left” and “right” sides of a person in position to exercise
on this product. Also, for brevity, the word “screws” is used where screws, washers, and
other hardware may be involved.
The illustration below shows the integrated TV screen installed on a T672 treadmill.
It shows the end result of this assembly process.

To access the motor compartment, remove covers as explained in steps (a)
through (b) below.
(a) Remove screws from the power cord connector, and unplug the cord.
(b) Remove the motor left and right covers, top and front covers in the order
shown below (a), (b), (c),and (d).

Install the adapter and its cord as explained in instructions (a) through (f) below.
(a) Use the single hole to secure the set strap onto the inside of the front motor cover as
shown.
(b) Remove the backing from one side of the double-sided foam tape. Use the tape to
secure the adapter box (A4) to the inside of the front cover between the two screw
holes.
Select a suitable hole in the set strap (A8) and use a screw to secure the adapter
(A4) into place.
(d) Cut off and dispose the unused part of the set strap (A8).

(e) Squeeze the sides of the power switch and pull it toward yourself. Disconnect cable
connections from the filter and the power switch. Connect cable (A5). Then insert
the power switch back into place as shown. (Be careful to ensure that L and N wires
are in the correct position.)

(f) Secure the ground wire from cable (A5) and the ground wire from the pedestal as
shown.

Follow instructions (a) through (e) to install cables into the pedestal.
(a) First, remove the left bottle holder.
(b) Insert the end of the cable (A3) with the plastic cover into the hole under the bottle
holder. Feed the cable through the pedestal as shown. At the bottom of the
pedestal, remove the plastic cover after pulling the cable through the hole in the
pedestal mount. At the top of the pedestal, insert the cable up to the line on the
cable.

(c) First, remove the terminal bracket and install the appropriate bracket cover plate
(A6). Connect cable (A3a) to the cover plate (A6). Then secure the terminal bracket
onto the unit as shown.
(d) Connect cable (A3b) to the adapter (A4). (Note: After connecting cable (A3b) to the
adapter (A4), push the plastic sheath into place to cover the connectors. To the
other end of the adapter (A4) connect cable (A5).
(e) Secure left and right side motor covers, the upper cover, and the front cover in order

much as possible.

Remove the cutaway in the display lower cover as follows.
(a) Remove screws from the display lower cover.
(b) Remove the sticker from the lower cover. Then use wire cutters to remove the
cutaway in area A of the lower cover.

Follow instructions (a) through (b) to remove the display upper cover.
(a) Open the display upper cover slowly to avoid detaching cables. Disconnect the
USB cable. Place the display upper cover flat on the handles.
(b) Detach the feeder wire from the left side of the handle. Wrap the feeder wire around
the upper part of cable (A3). Then use the feeder wire to pull cable (A3) to the front
of the display set plate

Follow instructions (a) through (e) to install the integrated T module.
(a) uide the integrated T module into the hole in the lower cover. (ote While inserting
the integrated T module into place feed the cables through the hole in the center of
the display lower cover.)
(b) Secure screws () first in area A then in area B. After securing the integrated T
module carefully cut the ip tie off the cables.

(c) First, connect cable (L1) to cable (A3). Then detach the coaxial cable splitter (A7)
from the metal plate. Connect CATV and DTV cables to the splitter (A7) as shown.
Secure the splitter (A7) onto the display set plate. Then secure the ground wire from
cable (L2) onto the splitter (A7) as shown.

(d) Connect the integrated TV cable (L2) to the decoder board for iPod. (Note: Not
every decoder board for iPod supports audio-video functions. With the integrated
TV module, only use the audio-video decoder board. If not using iPod functions,
do not connect cable L2.)
(e) Connect the integrated TV cable (L3) to the display circuit board as shown.

STEP 7 Secure the Display Upper Cover
Follow instructions (a) through (c) to secure the display upper cover.
(a) Connect the USB cable into place. Organize other cables into place to avoid
pinching them. Close the display upper cover.
(b) Install the left bottle holder into place.

To secure the angle of the TV at its recommended position, follow instructions on the
sticker (inside the neck cover). To secure the TV screen angle at a different position,
follow steps (a) through (d) below.
(a) Remove the integrated TV module neck cover.
(b) Remove the screws at the lower left and right sides of the bracket. Loosen (but do
not remove) screws in position (A) until the angle of the TV screen can be adjusted.
(c) After adjusting the angle of the integrated TV screen, secure screws in area (A).
While aligning screw holes, secure other screws that were removed in step (b).
(d) Fit the integrated TV module neck cover to mesh inside the display top cover in area
(B). Then secure the integrated TV module neck cover with its screws.
