QUICK START GUIDE
STAY/AWAY ARMING THE SYSTEM
When on the Status page, tap to Arm/Partially disarm the system.
Select one of the following options:
Stay: Only arms the Door/Window sensors so you can stay at home.
Away: Arms all devices.

Connect AC Adapter to DC IN Jack and the
other end into a 120V/60Hz AC outlet.
*Insert the Power Switch into a 120V/60Hz AC outlet.
For first time use, it is recommended to turn ON each
device as you pair them. Turning the unit ON activates
the manual pairing mode.
Door/Window Sensor
A CR2032 battery has been
pre-installed in the Door/Window
Sensor for first time use. Apply the
double-sided tape to the rear of both
sections of the Door/Window sensor.
Select a location on either a door or a
window. Make sure to attach the
smaller piece to the movable part of the
door/window frame.
Motion Detector
For first time use, batteries are
pre-installed (3 AA batteries 3). Apply
the double-sided tape to the rear of the
Motion Detector as shown. Use the thick
tape for flat wall mount or the thin table
for corner mounting. Select a location
between 2-2.5 meters (6-8 ft) from the
floor.
Download the Connect Plus App as follows:
APPLE IOS DEVICE:
From your iPhone or iPad, go to the
App Store and search for ALC Connect Plus.
ANDROID DEVICE:
From your Android smartphone or tablet
device, go to Google Play and search for
ALC Connect Plus.
When first turning on the app
you will enter the Control Hub
(or System Name you gave)
Selection window. Simply tap
your Control Hub to enter.
The Status screen will then
appear.
Remove the plastic tabs on
the Door/Window sensors,
Remote control and PIR
Motion sensor. Tap on the
corresponding sensor on the
Status page to rename and
provide a location for the
sensor.
Power Switch: Tap on the
Power Switch icon to turn
On or Off and to change the
name and provide location
such as Hall Lamp.
PAIRING THE CONTROL HUB

At the dashboard, tap “+” (Add Device).
Tap Camera from the Device list.
Plug camera into an electrical outlet and
the the camera will boot up taking up to
90 seconds. When the green Link
Status indicator begins blinking, the
camera is ready to be set up. Tap Next.
The app will search for your camera.
a. If you are using an iOS device, go
to step 6.
b. If you are using an Android
device, the search will locate the
camera and retrieve the DID
automatically. Tap it to continue
the setup.
Name the camera and the location of
the camera. Enter a new Security Code
(must be 6 characters or more, letters
and/or numbers). Repeat and then tap
Next.
Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the
network’s password and then tap
Next. The unit will prepare your
camera and then it will be paired.
For iOS devices follow the instructions
on the screen:
a. Tap on your iPhone Home
button.
b. Go to Settings, then Wi-Fi.
c. Select the Wi-Fi network called
“HD-xxxxxx”.
d. Enter the password 12345678,
then Join.
e. After it connects (checkmark will
appear next to the HD-xxxxxx),
go back and restart the ALC
Connect Plus app.
f. Continue with step 4.
IMPORTANT: All sensors are paired with the Control Hub at the factory. See below to pair again or to add devices.
Camera: Tap the Camera. At
this screen you can view the
camera. Also tap the icons
under the image to perform
the following:

Launch the previously
installed ALC Connect
App. At the next screen,
tap Add new system.
The app will search for
the Control Hub and
retrieve the Control Hub
DID automatically.
Name the system (i.e.
“Home System”) and
add a photo (if desired).
Tap Next.
Enter a Security Code
(must be 6 characters or
more, letters and/or
numbers). Repeat and
then tap Save.
DASHBOARD
Snapshot: Tap to capture screen
images. The snapshots will be
saved into the camera roll of your
mobile device.
Mute/Un-mute: Press to hear the
sound of the camera’s microphone
through the App. Tap again to
mute the sound.
Record: Tap to record. Video
records for about 1 minute.

Shortcut: Tap to create a shortcut.
A shortcut can be as simple as
"turn on all lights".
SETTINGS
You can set many advanced
features in the Settings menu.
• Set built-in Siren volume
and duration.
• Edit Arming scenarios.
• Turn Notifications and
Email alerts On/Off.
• Modify Security Code and
passwords.

Note: A Micro SD Card is required to
to use the recording function on this
camera. Insert at the rear of the camera.

Screw the Antenna clockwise
into the rear of the camera.
Secure the multi-position Camera Bracket to a stable
surface, ceiling or wall using the two screws. If
needed, two anchors are also included. Secure the
camera to the Camera Bracket using the three smaller
screws.
Connect the small end of the AC
adapter to the camera’s AC In jack.
Plug into electrical outlet when
ready to install App.
Recommendations for best system performance:
• iOS 7.0 or above.
Android: Android
smartphone or tablet (version 4.3x or above).
• Storage: Class 10 MicroSD memory card (up to 128 GB).
• Bandwidth: 1Mbps or above upload/download speed suggested.
