Prerequisites
TaHoma® is a connected home system, so you need to have an Internet connection.
The Internet router/modem must also have an Ethernet port (if the modem only has one Ethernet port,
equipment such as an Ethernet router can be used to connect several devices to the modem).

Installing the box
To improve the radio range, we recommend that the Somfy box be placed in an unconfined place in the middle of the house (avoid metallic surfaces
and enclosures).
Do not disconnect the Somfy box
during the initialisation sequence!
To install your security devices and
sensors, please read their respective
user guides.

Configuring the interface: connected security (2/8)
1. Add security accessories and devices
TaHoma® is compatible with a wide range of devices from Somfy and its partners. These devices use
different technologies, and are therefore grouped by family.
The Somfy device families appear in the tabs by default.
A USB extension is required to ensure compatibility with certain partners.
When it is connected, the corresponding family automatically appears in the tabs.

technology used
by the device that
you want to add
A full list of Somfy partners is
available at somfy.co.uk
To find out which technology your Somfy

SECURITY MODES: overview
TaHoma® serenity possesses 4 home protection modes:
• Total protection (ON)
• Partial protection (1 and 2) (ON - customised)
• Protection disabled (OFF)
In the case of an intrusion:
• The alarm buzzer is triggered
• You are sent alerts (notifications, e-mails, SMS).
• You benefit from active protection: the light comes
on to simulate a presence in your home and the
camera starts recording (video version).
• Benefit from even more possibilities offered by
your Somfy devices and partner brands (shutters,
blinds, etc.).
Protection suited to your needs.
These 2 modes offer the same functionality as the
Total mode. However, you can choose the sensors
and can disable the siren (silent alarm).
All the sensors are disabled.
