CorrectinstallationisrequiredtoensurethatEMCperformanceisnotcompromised.
Note:Inareasofe xtremeEMCinterference,someslightinterferencemaybenoticedonthe
product.Wherethisoccurstheproductandthesourceoftheinterferenceshouldbeseparated
byagreaterdistance.

Compasssafedistance
T opreventpotentialinterferencewiththevessel'smagneticcompasses,ensureanadequate
distanceismaintainedfromtheproduct.
Whenchoosingasuitablelocationfortheproductyoushouldaimtomaintainthemaximumpossible
distancefromanycompasses.Typicallythisdistanceshouldbeatleast1m(3.3ft)inalldirections.
Howeverforsomesmallervesselsitmaynotbepossibletolocatetheproductthisfarawayfroma
compass.Inthissituation,whenchoosingtheinstallationlocationforyourproduct,ensurethatthe
compassisnotaffectedbytheproductwhenitisinapoweredstate.
