DESCRIPTION
The ATM PSU is a common module designed for use in the Total Access 1000 DSLAM.
The ATM PSU features:

Converts incoming -48 VDC local power to regulated buss voltages
■
Provision free plug-and-play
■
Front panel status LED
■
Meets FCC, NEBS Level 3, and UL 60950
TURNUP STEPS
Unpack the Total Access 1000 DSLAM ATM PSU card and inspect for damage. If
damage is apparent, refer to your carrier or supplier for remedy.
Insert ATM PSU card into the Total Access 1000 DSLAM slot marked PSU. To insert,
hold the ATM PSU card by the front panel while supporting the bottom edge of the
card. Align the card edge with the guide groove in the Total Access 1000 chassis.
Insert into chassis until the edge card connector seats firmly into the chassis
backplane. Lock the unit in place by pushing in on the locking levers.
Monitor LED for operational status.

COMPLIANCE
This product is intended to be installed in a Total Access 1000 Chassis providing a
Type “B” or “E” enclosure, with Restricted Access.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2)
this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may
cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by ADTRAN could void the user’s
authority to operate this equipment.
WARRANTY
ADTRAN will replace or repair this product within the warranty period if it does not
meet its published specifications or fails while in service. Warranty information can
