  • Hello! I have analyzed the provided instructions for the 240mm Wall #1 model. The document details the steps for assembling the laser-cut pieces into a 28mm scale Sci-Fi wall. I'm here to answer your questions about the model's construction, materials, and painting techniques.
  • What type of glue is needed for assembly?
What tool is needed to remove pieces from the sprue?
    Is sanding recommended?
28mm Sci-Fi Walls 240mm Wall #1
B28-SFW-012
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place
while you allow glue to dry.
Each end of the wall is formed from the pieces
shown above.
Glue the two hooked pieces through the back plate,
ensuring the hooks all point in the same direction.
Add the outer later.
Repeat this for the other end piece.
Glue the two ends to the base.
The base and “Lid” are the same.
Add the side walls.
Glue the “lid” into place.
Attach the outer wall decoration.
If you want flat ends rather than hooked ones, use the
two pieces shown above in place of each hooked end
section.

Painting
Once assembled we sprayed our wall with a black car undercoat / primer.
It was then given a heavy dry brush of a grass-green coloured DIY emulsion.
The lights were painted bark blue, then dry brushed with an ice blue, followed by white.
The edges of the lights were painted gold.
Chips were done by painting the desired area white, then once that was dry the inner portion of the area painted black,
leaving a thin white outline. Silver was then used inside the black area, leaving a thin black outline.
