This book is for the various people who unpack, install,
program, operate, and troubleshoot the NCR 7890
Presentation Scanner. It contains step-by-step
instructions for each of these functions.
Since the daily operation of the scanner is very simple,
frequent references to this book are not required while
using the scanner. However, this book is essential each
time you perform the less frequently used functions
such as installing and programming.
You can obtain additional information about the NCR

Radio Frequency Interference
Statement
Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with out the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a

which case the user is required to correct the
interference at his own expense.

There are seven Country Language Specific IEC Class 1
Laser labels included with the NCR 7890 Scanner when
configured for international installations. The
importer/installer must attach the correct IEC label to
the scanner cabinet. The following figure shows the
labels and suggested installation location.
