RENEWING THE NEON LIGHT BULB
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Open the lighting unit.
3.
Remove the burnt-out neon bulb and insert a
new one (turn anticlockwise and unhook from
the two lamp-holders on the end of the neon
itself). Use 14Watt (max) neon bulbs only.
The starter can be found on one end of the
neon behind one of the lamp-holders. If the
neon still does not light up, replace the starter
(bayonet fitting) with a new starter for 14 Watt
(max) bulbs.
4.
Close the lighting unit.
REMOVING AND RENEWING OR
CLEANING THE GREASE FILTER:
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Pull out the steam deflector.
3.
Remove the extractor grille.
4.
Release the grease filter.
5.
Remove the dirty grease filter.
6.
After renewing or cleaning the grease filter
(depending on model - see the “Instructions”
manual provided with this sheet) repeat the
above steps in reverse to reassemble,
making sure the entire extraction surface is
covered.
MOUNTING OR RENEWING THE
CARBON FILTER:
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Pull out the steam deflector.
3.
Remove the extractor grille.
4.
If a carbon filter is already mounted and
needs renewing, press the release buttons
(
b
) and pull the filter out downwards.
5.
If the filters are not mounted:
a.
fit the carbon filter into the upper clips.
b.
fasten using the lower clips.
6.
Remount the extractor grille.
