Reverse

Snap cable

connectors

into bottom

of cable bracket.

Loosely attach

lower handle

to frame using

the 3⁄8”-16 x

3⁄4” hex head

screws, at

washers, and

3⁄8”-16 hex

lock nuts.

Do not tighten

hardware.

Attach upper

handle and handle

support brackets to

lower handle using

the 5⁄16”-18 x

1-1⁄2” screws, 5⁄16”

split lock washers,

and 5⁄16”-18 hex

nuts. Tighten all

hardware in Step 1

and Step 2.

Insert the Black

Z-Connector

into the hole

in the Forward

clutch bail.

Insert the Red

Z-Connector

into the hole

in the Reverse

clutch lever.

Gas

Oil

Throttle

Choke

Move choke control to

full choke position.

Move throttle control

to rabbit (fast)

position.

Fill tank with gas to within 1/2-inch of top of tank.

Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle supplied.

Pull starter rope

with quick, full arm

stroke. It may take

more than one pull

to start cold engine.

Once started,

slowly move choke

control to off (run)

position.
