INSTALLING THE HARD DRIVE
Came S.p.A. recommends using a SATA hard drive. Before installing, disconnect power.
The hard drive must be secured to the bottom of the NVR, after connecting the power cord and the data cable.

WIZARD
Turning the NVR on. The WIZARD window will appear on
the monitor.
You can enter NUMBERS, LETTERS and SYMBOLS. Use
the SHIFT key to enter capital letters and symbols.
You can confi gure: TIME, NETWORK, TYPE OF RECORDING
and HARD DRIVE MANAGEMENT.
Click DEVICE NAME and the keyboard will appear, then
click NEXT to confi gure the port.
Http port: default 80
SERVER port: default 6036
You can:
a- Check OBTAIN AN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY
b- Manually enter the following parameters.
IP ADDRESS
SUBNET MASK
GATEWAY
PREFERRED SERVER DNS
ALTERNATE DNS SERVER: this selection allows you to use/display
the NVR remotely.
HOW TO TURN THE NVR ON AND OFF
To turn the NVR on
Connect the camera to the monitor, connect the NVR to the power supply. The blue LED will light up and the
WIZARD window will appear on the monitor.
To turn the NVR o
The NVR can be turned o using either the IR remote control or the mouse.
Using the remote control
Press the power button on the remote control. The SHUT DOWN window will appear in the monitor. Click OK.
Using the mouse
Enter the MENU and select (o ). Click .
It is always advisable to unplug the power cord after shutdown.

LOGIN
Press the MENU button to display the LOGIN window. Enter USERNAME and PASSWORD.
Username: admin
Password: 123456
CH (CHANNEL): recording channel
RESOLUTION: choose the type of recording resolution
FPS (FRAMES PER SECOND): choose the number of frames per second
ENCODE: choose the type of coding
QUALITY: choose the video quality
MAX BITRATE: choose the maximum BITRATE. The higher the value, the sharper the image and the greater the space occupied
on the hard drive.
Click NEXT to access the hard drive management window.
If the HARD DRIVE has just been installed, proceed with formatting.

SCHEDULE
From this window, you can schedule recording. There are 4 di erent recording modes.
Manual recording pressing REC on the NVR. To stop recording, press REC again.
You can use the mouse to start/stop recording by clicking REC on the toolbar.
SETUP
Press the ENTER key or click the right mouse button to access the SETUP window.
BASIC: to set the video system, menu language, audio, time and authorisation control.
LIVE: to set the NAME/TIME to display, the image colour and to hide the cameras.
RECORD: to set the recording quality, frame rate, resolution, time and recycling.
SCHEDULE: to schedule recordings, motion detection, alarms.
ALARM: to set the type of sensor, alarm activation and the buzzer.
NETWORK: to enable the function, confi gure the IP address, the DDNS and the video transmission parameters.
USERS: to add or delete users or modify their permissions. This can only be done by the administrator.
PTZ: camera pan, tilt and zoom.
ADVANCED: to reboot the NVR, import or export data from to external drives.

Recording begins and ends at set times on set days.
From SETUP, choose SCHEDULE. Click to schedule recording. Click to cancel the scheduling.
If you double-click on the grid, a weekly programming window appears. On WEEK DAYS select the day and click
ADD to set the recording start times and end times.
If you click COPY, you can copy the settings you just have entered to other days. Click OK to save the weekly
schedule.
Recording must be scheduled for each CHANNEL, but you can also set the same schedule for all channels by
selecting APPLY SETTINGS TO ALL and clicking COPY.
Recording when motion is detected
Recording is activated when a movement is detected by a sensor.
From SETUP choose MOTION.
Enable motion detection by checking ENABLE next to the channel (CH) on which you want to enable recording
when motion is detected.
Click APPLY to save the settings. In the AREA box, click SETTING to set the detection area and sensitivity.
Recording using a sensor
From SETUP, choose SCHEDULE, SENSOR, BASIC.
Enable the sensor alarm by checking ENABLE next to the channel (CH) on which you want to enable recording
when using a sensor.
Click APPLY to save the settings. Then choose SCHEDULE to view the saved settings.

PLAYBACK
There are 4 di erent ways of playing the recording.
LIVE playback
To start LIVE playback, click from the main menu bar in the SEARCH window. Use the commands on the
display to view the video playback.
Playback with TIME SEARCH
From MENU, SEARCH choose TIME SEARCH.
On the right-hand side of the window, select the date and channels.
Click SEARCH. Indicate the start time for recording playback.
Click to start playback.

Playback with EVENT SEARCH
From MENU, SEARCH choose EVENT SEARCH.
On the right-hand side of the window, select the date and channels. Click SEARCH.
Depending on the search you want, check MOTION, SENSOR or ALL.
The events will appear. Select the event with a double-click.
Playback with IMAGE
From MENU, SEARCH choose IMAGE
On the right-hand side of the window, select the date and channels. Click SEARCH.
When you fi nd the image you are looking for, you can start playback by double-clicking the image.
If you click LOCK, you can freeze the image, while clicking SAVE saves the image on the hard drive.
If you click SAVE ALL, all images will be saved on the hard drive.
In order to save the images, activate the SNAPSHOT function in the ALARM HANDLING window.
BACKUP
BACKUP is available via UBS.
From the BACKUP window, you can set the start and end times for backup and select the channels.
Using the ALL function, you can back up everything.
The BACKUP options set can be controlled by the user.
BACKUP starts when you click START.
REMOTE CONTROL
Remote control is only possible if the NVR is connected to the LAN/WAN or internet.
Accessing the NVR via LAN
MENU, SETUP, NETWORK and choose the NETWORK tab.
Enter the following data
IP ADDRESS
SUBNET MASK
GATEWAY
If you are using the DHCP, you must enable it on both the NVR and the ROUTER.
You can check the network settings of the NVR from the INFORMATION window.
To set the network video parameters (resolution, frame rate...) select RECORD SETUP.
Open a browser, enter the IP address of the NVR and press enter.
The browser will download the ActiveX component.

Accessing the NVR via WAN
MENU, SETUP, NETWORK
Enter IP ADDRESS, SUBNET MASK and GATEWAY.
If you are using the DHCP, you must enable it on both the NVR and the ROUTER.
Forward the IP ADDRESS and the port number on the ROUTER’s VIRTUAL SERVER or the virtual server. Confi gure
the fi rewall to allow access to the NVR.
This step should not be done in the event that the UPnP function is enabled in the NVR and ROUTER.
Open the browser, enter the IP ADDRESS or the name of the dynamic domain and press enter.
If the http port is not the default one (80), specify the http port number after the IP address.
You will be asked for your USERNAME and PASSWORD.
Connecting the NVR to the internet via PPPoE
From MENU, SETUP, NETWORK enable PPPoE, then enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD. Click APPLY.
The NVR connects to the server and sends a confi rmation message.
You can use a dynamic domain name by requesting it from a DNS server supported by the NVR or router. This
dynamic domain name should be added to the NVR or router.
In the case of remote access, if you enter the IP ADDRESS, you can access directly.
The browser will download the ActiveX component.
APPENDIX
Control from mobile device
Enable network service on the NVR.

From AppleStore, search for SUPERLIVE_pro. Install the application on your phone. Your iPhone will ask for the
password in order to proceed with installation, although the application is free.
If the http port is not the default one (80), specify the http port number after the IP address.
You will be asked for your USERNAME and PASSWORD.

Download the SuperCam app from Google Market and install it.
DDNS AND UPNP SETUP
UPnP setup
You can use UPnP to enable rapid connection of the device to the WAN through a router, without port mapping.
1. Access the Other Settings tab, enable UPnP and click “Apply” to save.
2. Enable UPnP on the router.
Before setting UPnP, correctly confi gure the local IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS according to
the router. Make sure that the HTTP port and the data port are set correctly. Check that your router supports
UPnP.
Quick DDNS setup
You can setup the DDNS to use when the NVR is set to use PPPoE as the network connection.
1. Access Main Menu Setup Network Other Settings.
2. Enable DDNS and select “www.autoddns.com” in the dropdown
DDNS Type menu. The host name is set automatically. Once
you register, save the settings by clicking “Apply”. At this point,
you can remotely access the NVR using the domain name via
WAN.
NAT
NAT settings
1. The NVR must be powered on and connected to the network.
2. Access Menu Setup Network. See . IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway can be obtained
automatically, but you can enter them manually according to the PC setup.
Make sure that the network segment is the same as the network used.
3. Set the preferred or alternate DNS server. Click “Apply” to save the parameters.

P2P Setup
Once the application is open, tap the arrow highlighted in red , tap the highlighted key and check that the
address and port are as shown . If necessary, enter the address 115.28.222.212:8989.
4. Access Menu Setup Network NAT tab. See .
5. Enable NAT and fi ll in the NAT Server and Port number fi elds (the default NAT Server value is www.
autonat.com; the default Port number value is 8989).
6. Click “Apply” to save the parameters.
Accessing the NAT server
After fi nishing the NAT settings, you can access the NAT server on the
PC (enter http://www.autonat.com to access the IE client). If you are
accessing NAT for the fi rst time, the network will automatically downlo-
ad ActiveX. After installing ActiveX, the login window will open up:
Serial No: NVR MAC address (access Menu Information
Network to check the NVR MAC address).
User Name: NVR username (the default name is admin).
Password: the NVR password (the default password is 123456).

At this point, simply tap the typical icon to read the QR code (in red ). The code scan window opens up .
Once read, the serial number will be shown in the “Server” box . At this point, simply enter your username
and password to gain access to the VCR.
If, on the other hand, you intend to access the VCR using a PC, always via P2P, you must fi rst reach the
address 115.28.222.212 (you may be prompted to install the plug-in). The page will open . Now just enter
the VCR serial number and your username and password to gain access.
