Open the sign labeled with SERIAL ADDRESS = 2.
Using the communications conduit opening, run the Serial I/O cable between the two signs.

Open the sign with SERIAL ADDRESS = 1.
Locate the 30-foot Serial I/O cable in the lower left side of the sign.

Locate the SERIAL ADDRESS label on the back of each sign.
The SERIAL ADDRESS number will increase by one for each sign (1, 2, 3, and so on):

Run the Serial I/O cable out through the sign’s communications conduit opening.
Then close the sign.

cable in the same conduit
as the power wires.

Connect the signs as shown on the next page.

Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each remaining sign.
