Baso B19N Series Universal Silicon Nitride Hot Surface Igniter Kit helps with lighting gas appliances and furnaces. It includes a ceramic block, metal bracket, and two ceramic wire nuts. Proper Installation Procedure:
1. Disconnect electrical power and gas supply to
appliance or furnace and remove existing igniter.
2. Cut the two wires of the existing igniter 3-4 inches
from ceramic block.
3. Compare the old ceramic block with the new parts
in kit and select the appropriate metal bracket to
best match the original igniter. See photos shown
below.
4. Connect existing wires to the new igniter and use
the two ceramic wire nuts to complete the
connection. Ensure that the two wire nuts are
tightly secured for proper electrical connection.
5. Re-install the new igniter in the reverse order of
removal.
6. Test the appliance or furnace several times for
proper ignition.
DO NOT USE THIS IGNITER FOR ANY OTHER
APPLICATION.
