Side Channel Assembly
Warning:
When subject to air pressure differentials shade vertical edges may
become disengaged from side channels resulting in a condition that will
damage the fabric if the shade is opened. Do not leave
windows open and shades closed especially when opening and closing
doors to the room the shade(s) are installed in. Do not subject shade to air
pressure differentials when installed in conjunction with side channels.

SILL ANGLE (Optional)
The Sill Angle can be configured in two ways, with the vertical side behind the hembar. It should
always be installed such that it does not prevent the Side Channels from tilting open. Before
installing, cut a notch in the corner of the Sill Angle so it butts up to the Side Channel. It is not
recommended to slide the Sill Angle under the Side Channels. It restricts tilting open, during
battery change, and it moves the Side Channels up negating the 1/8” gap between the bracket
and top of the Side Channels.
