1 Introduction
The Hot Wire Cutter is primarily for the use of cutting Danfoss
SpeedUp panels as well as additional EPS or XPS insulation.
Please be careful when working with the tool to prevent accidents
such as burning yourself or your surroundings. The blades can
reach temperatures of up to 500 °C. Never touch the blade after
the switch has been pressed down. Do not lay the unit against any
surface after use until the blade has cooled down.
Do not operate the product in unfavourable ambient conditions,
such as:
Moisture or too high air humidity
Dust and flammable gases, fumes or solvents.
Strong vibrations.

3 Safety Instructions
Observe these safety instructions at all time!
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the
product is inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE).
The connection cable is to be replaced only by the
manufacturer or his servicing agent who have a special tool
available.
The structure of the Hot Wire Cutter complies with safety
class II. Make sure that the insulation of the housing is neither
damaged nor destroyed.

4 Operation
1. Unscrew the binding screws.
2. Insert the cutting blade.
3. Tighten binding screws again carefully.

Before you plug in the tool, check the voltage which is
indicated on the label.
5. When you press down the switch the cutting blade heats up.
After about 6-8 secs. the suitable cutting temperature is
obtained.
6. The blade may be cleaned with a metal brush while it is still
warm.
7. After working release the switch of the Hot Wire Cutter.
Do not hold the unit continuously in „ON“ position to prevent
abnormal high blade temperature.
Allow the blade to cool down during operation.
The indication „intermittent operation 1/4 min.“ means that the
tool is not dimensioned for continuous operation. After 1/4
minute of heating respectively working with the tool it must cool
down for 3/4 minute.
5 Disposal
The device itself must not be disposed in household refuse!
An unusable device must be returned to the supplier, the
manufacturer or an official disposal body/institution equipped for
this purpose.
6 CE-mark
This device fulfil the requirements of the EU-Directives:
2004/108/EC: „EMC-Directive“
2006/95/EC: „Low Voltage Directive“
Therefore this device is marked with the CE-Mark.
