1. Before use, ensure that the power plug is connected to a properly installed wall socket that is easily accessible and the
supply voltage matches the rating plate.
2. Ensure the power socket used is properly earthed.
3. In order to get the best results, ensure that this product is placed appropriately so that it will have maximum impact
against the insects.
4. To operate the appliance, just connect it to the power supply. Once connected to the power supply the appliance shall
automatically switch on. You can switch it off by pressing the OFF button on the remote control, or by disconnecting it from
the power supply. In case you switch the appliance off using the remote control and you decide to leave it connected to the
power supply, you can turn it back on by pressing the ON button on the remote control.
IMPORTANT: in case you decide to switch the device on and off by only using the remote control we recommend that you
disconnect it from the power supply while not in use. In case of a power failure, the appliance shall automatically switch on
by the time the power comes back to the grid in which case the appliance might be unattended.
5. Once the power supply is switched "On" you should see the tube emitting purple light. This indicates that the product is in
operation.
6. It is normal to hear a cracking or zapping sound when insects touch the electrified net.
7. After a period of use, the bottom tray may need cleaning. Firstly, please cut off the power and remove the plug from the
socket. Ensure that the outer grid is fully discharged to remove any residual charge. This can be done using a screwdriver to
short any two grid wires. Please be cautious while doing this and ensure that the screwdriver is held using the insulated
handle. Repeat the procedure with the inner grid. Then remove the bottom tray to clean.
1. Ensure that the voltage and the frequency indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the
appliance.
2. Do not operate the appliance if it or the power cord show visible signs of damage.
3. Ensure that the power cord cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot surfaces. If the power supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by a qualified electrician.

5. Before replacing the lamp or cleaning the product, ensure that the power supply is switched off and the plug is removed
from the socket. Also, please make sure that the electric grid is fully discharged before touching any parts of the unit.
6. The appliance should be kept out of the reach of children or pets. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure
they do not play with or in any other way try to operate or come into contact with this appliance.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
8. Do not insert your fingers or other objects into the device to prevent accidents.
9. Always make sure that there is enough space around the unit for air circulation. Do not cover the units as this could
create danger of overheating.
10. Keep the unit far from the direct sunshine, avoid high temperatures, humidity and places with dust and corrosive gas.
11. To avoid any risk, do not make any modifications to the product. In case of failure or malfunction, turn it off and do not
tamper. For any repair, contact an authorized service center.
12. The appliance is not intended to be used in locations where flammable vapors or explosive dust is likely to exist. Do not
expose it to extremely dirty environments.
13. DO NOT TOUCH THE NET, THERE IS THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
