NOTE: Read all instructions before starting any work.
1. Remove the OE exhaust from behind the catalytic converters.
Lubricate the rubber isolators with WD-40, or a similar product,
to aid in removal of the metal rod hangers.
2. Before installing DynoMax intermediate pipe 52514, please cut 2¹⁄₂"
off the outlet end. Insert the rod hanger into the rubber isolator.
3. Install DynoMax muffler 17263. Use band clamp #33226 at the muffler
inlet & outlet connections.
4. Install mounting bracket 36517 using two existing bolts in the cross
member just past the outlet location of the DynoMax muffler. Reuse
one of the OE rubber isolators from the back of the vehicle.
5. Install DynoMax tail pipe 51084. Be sure to insert the metal rod hanger
into the rubber isolator. See the system diagram on the back page of
these instructions.
6. Beginning at the inlet end, align all the system components and fully
tighten all the clamps.
