BLOTZ B28-SR-002 Assembly Instructions

  • I've reviewed the instructions for the Stairs B28-SR-002 model. The document details the assembly process, from removing parts from the sprue to gluing the handrails. It emphasizes using PVA and a sharp modeling knife. I'm ready to answer your questions about assembling this model kit.
  • What type of glue is needed?
What tool is required to remove sections from the sprue?
    Can sandpaper be used?
28mm Stairs #2
B28-SR-002
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Remove the right-hand support and the steps
from the sprue.
Glue the steps into the non-etched side of the
supports.
Then take the left-hand support and platform.
Glue them together as shown above.
Starting with the lugs on the platform, carefully
align these with the holes in the left-hand support,
then working down one step at a time, align these
with the holes in the right hand support.
Glue the base to the supports.
Note: This only fits one way round.
Glue the end support into position.
Take the hand-rails from the sprue.
And glue these to the supports. The slightly
rounded end of the long rails should be at the
bottom of the steps.
