MCH52BXS103 Control Handle with Ramp Card Amplifi er
Technical Information
Overview
DESCRIPTION
The MCH52BXS103 Control Handle includes a Ramp Card Amplifi er and provides a time
delayed control for MCV104A, MCV105A and MCV111B Electrical Displacement Controls
(EDC´s) for hydrostatic transmissions.
The adjustable ramp time is the same for both up and down. The control works bidirec-
tionally.
FEATURES Rugged components designed for the construction environment.
Adjustable ramp time (0 s to 7 s).
Withstands vibration and shock.
Mechanical variations on the basic Control Handle available upon request.

Technical Information
Block Diagram and Theory of Operation
BLOCK DIAGRAM
THEORY OF OPERATION The Control Handle MCH52BXS103 is powered with 24 V
DC
across pins 1 and 2. The set-
point is given by an internal potentiometer.
If the handle neutral position the value of the output current is ≤ 10 mA. In this range
a control for detection of the neutral position switches off the power to the EDC and
defi nes a true neutral position of the pump.
The external available micro switch contact can be used for a startlock circuit. The ramp
time is adjustable from 0 s to 7 s with potentiometer R2.
Output Current with Step Handle Angle Changes
(null to positive full stroke, positive full to negative full and negative full to null).
