The Automotive Controller chosen will depend on the application. Specifi cations are
defi ned in the MCE102B literature or contact Application Engineering in Neumünster
(for Europe) or Minneapolis (for America).
The Sauer-Danfoss Transmission Control Concept allows a vehicle equipped with a
hydrostatic transmission to be driven like a car.
The propel speed increases proportionally to engine RPM increase. In a second mode
(work mode) with engine RPM fi xed, an anti stall function is included. That reduces the
power requested from the propel transmission under conditions which would otherwise
overload the engine.
The anti stall function also provides a nearly constant RPM speed for the working pro-
cess. The anti stall function can be switched on or off. The propel direction is selectable
with an external FNR-switch in series which the MCE102B and the propel speed is set
with an inch potentiometer in the work mode.
Setting the automotive curve characteristic must account for the power and torque
performance of the engine.
