Guarantee and Compensation
Barco provides a guarantee relating to perfect manufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of g uarant ee. On rece
ipt, the purchaser
must immediately inspect all delivered goods for damage incurred during transport, as well as for material and manufacturing faults Barco
must be informed immediately in writing of a ny complaints.
The period of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of commissioning,
at latest 30 days aft er the transfer of risks. In the e vent of justified notice of compliant, Barco c an repair t he fault or provide a replacement
at its own discretion within an appropriate period. If this measure proves to be impossible or unsuccessful, the purchaser can demand a
reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of the contract. All other claims, in p articu lar those relating to compensation for direct or
indirectdamage, and also damage attributedtotheoperationofsoftwareaswellas to other services provided by Barco, being a component
ofthe system or independent service, will be deemedinvalid provided the damage is not proven to be attributed to the absence of properties
guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or part of B arco.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out mod ification s or repairs on goo
ds delivered by Barco, or if the goods are handled incorrectly,
in particular if the systems are commissioned operated incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods are subject to influences no t
agreed upon i n the contract, all guarantee claims of the purch aser will be rendered invalid. No t included in the guarantee coverage are
system failures which are attributed to programs or special electroni
c circuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. i nterfa ces. Normal wear as
well as normal maintenance are not subject to th e guarantee provided by Barco either.
The environmen tal conditions as well as the servicing and maintenance regulations sp ecified in the this manual must be complied with by
the customer.

creetly stowed inside the display cabinet o f the Solaris. Integration in the durable housing o f the Solaris ensures a compact an d safe

2. PHYSICAL INSTALLATION
2.1 Installation of Compact PC in a Solaris display
Necessary tools
Flat blade screwdriver.
How to install the Compact PC in a Solaris display ?
1. Unpack t he Co mpact PC.
2. Switch off the mains power supply to the Solaris display.
3. Remove the screw at the rea r of the Solaris which fasten the door of the PC slot. (image 2-1)
4. Push open the door of the PC.
5. Gently slide the Compact PC into the PC slot of the Solaris. (image 2-2, image 2-3)
6. Push the Compact PC completely inside the Solaris cabinet. (image 2-4, image 2-5)
7. Fasten the Compact PC to the housing of the Solaris with one screw, using a flat blade screwdriver. ( ima ge 2-6 )
8. Power u p the Solaris . The Compact PC is now available for use.
