CONNECTING THE MCT12
To carry out the connection of this module it is necessary to follow the steps specified on the next page.
 Define the consoles priority. To do that, you will have to place two PRIORITY jumpers according to the priority you wish
this module to have, (indication nr.1 of the figure on next page). For example: To set the priority to 3, place the two
jumpers at positions J103 and J106.
ATTENTION: There can be only one module with priority 1. Remember that every module containing
PRIORITY
information must be installed on the same chassis.
 Insert and screw the module and the chassis together in the front and back panels.
 Connect the data buses (Flat 10- and 20-way cables) to the connectors marked with nr.2 in the figure on next page.
 Link together the front and back panel. In this case you will have to connect following connector pairs marked as nr.3:
J112-TS101, J113-TS102, J110-TS103, J109-TS104, J111-TS105.
 The connector marked as nr.4 in the figure on next page will be used to connect the recorded message module (MMG1).
With this connection we indicate with which console we will be able to record the messages.

 Next, we will carry out the connection between the module and the console by means of cables with following
characteristics:
 6-way cable with a 6-way RJ45 connector at each end (to connector A)
 4-way cables with a 4-way RJ45 connector at each end (to connectors B and C)
 8-way cable with a 8-way RJ45 connector at each end (to connector D)
 These cables have to be build so that they act transparently as shown in the figure below:
Pin number one of both connectors share the same cable
colour, the rest of pins should be paired the same way.
 Once the complete installation of one or various chassis and the peripherals connections to ENVIRO has been carried out,
you should adjust the volume of this module so that the
SIGNAL LEVEL
LED lights up green while talking normally. As the
final step in the modules configuration, you may wish to adjust the tone controls.
