Guide
1. Remove the existing Rack Mounting brackets shown in Figure 1 (see Note 1).
2. Install the Wall Mounting brackets as shown in Figure 2.
3. Install the cables to the connectors on the rear of the panel (see Note 1).
4. On a level line, mark 2 holes on the mounting surface at 14 9/16 inches between centers. (see Note 2)
5. Install appropriate screws (depending on the material of the mounting surface) capable of securing
a minimum of 10 pounds. Leave the screw heads protruding approximately 1/4 inch.
6. Using the top keyholes in the bracket, hang the RJ48 patch panel on the screws and allow the
patch panel to slide down and rest on top of the screws.
7. Tighten the screws.
8. Install two screws into the lower half of the bottom keyholes.
Notes:
1.The RJ48 patch panel may be installed flat against the wall using the mounting brackets removed in Step 1. Refer to the ADTRAN
Patch Panel Product Notice (P/N 61200291L1-17) for installation details.
2.The RJ48 patch panel may be oriented vertically.
