Thissymbolidentifiesalistofvarioustools,

1.3Typeclassificationandintendeduse
Thisvehiclewasdesignedforpersonswhoseabilitytowalkis
impaired,butwhoarestillintermsoftheireyesightandphysically
andmentallyabletooperateanelectricvehicle.Ithasbeenclassified
accordingtoEN12184asaclassBmobilityproduct(forindoor
andoutdoorareas).Itisthereforecompactandagileenoughfor
indoorareas,butalsoabletoovercomemanyobstaclesinoutdoor
areas.

internationalstandardsastoitssafety.Itsatisfiestherequirements

EN12184includingEN1021-1/-2.Itwasalsotestedsuccessfully
accordingtoEN60529IPX4astoitsresistancetospraywater,andis
thereforewellsuitedforweatherconditionssuchastypicalEuropean
weatherconditions.Whenequippedwithanappropriatelighting
system,thevehicleissuitableforuseonpublicroads.
1.4Indications
Theuseofthismobilityproductisrecommendedforthefollowing
indications:
Theinabilityoragreatlyrestrictedabilitytowalkwithinthescope
ofthebasicrequirementtobeabletomovewithinone’sownfour
walls.Theneedtoleavethedwellingplaceinordertogetsome
freshairduringashortwalkortoreachthoseplacesgenerallytobe
foundatclosedistancetothedwellingandwhereeverydaybusiness
iscarriedout.
Provisionofpowerwheelchairsforinteriorandexteriorareas
isadvisableiftheuseofhand-operatedwheelchairsisnolonger
possibleonaccountofthedisability,yetproperoperationofan
electromotivedriveunitisstillpracticable.
1.5Usability
Onlyuseamobilitydevicewhenitisinperfectworkingorder.
Otherwise,youmightputyourselfandothersatrisk.

Weestimateaservicelifeoffiveyearsforthisproduct,providedit
isusedinstrictaccordancewiththeintendeduseassetoutinthis
documentandallmaintenanceandservicerequirementsaremet.
Theestimatedservicelifecanbeexceedediftheproductiscarefully
usedandproperlymaintained,andprovidedtechnicalandscientific
advancesdonotresultintechnicallimitations.Theservicelifecan

Forreasonsofsafetyandinordertoavoidaccidents
whichresultfromunnoticedwear,itisimportantthat
thiselectricmobilityproductundergoesaninspection
onceeveryyearundernormaloperatingconditions
(seeinspectionplancontainedinserviceinstructions).
Underdifficultoperatingconditionssuchasdailytravel
onsteepslopes,orinthecaseofuseinmedicalcare
caseswithfrequentlychangingwheelchairusers,it
wouldbeexpedienttocarryoutintermediatechecks
onthebrakes,accessoriesandrunninggear.
Ifthemobilityproductistobeoperatedonpublic
roads,thevehicledriverisresponsibleforensuring
thatitisinanoperationallyreliablecondition.
Inadequateorneglectedcareandmaintenanceof
themobilityproductwillresultinalimitationofthe
manufacturer'sliability.
2.3Safetyinformationonelectromagnetic
interference
Thiselectricvehiclewassuccessfullytestedinaccordancewith
InternationalstandardsastoitscompliancewithElectromagnetic
Interference(EMI)regulations.However,electromagneticfields,
suchasthosegeneratedbyradioandtelevisiontransmitters,and
cellularphonescaninfluencethefunctionsofelectricvehicles.Also,
theelectronicsusedinourvehiclescangeneratealowlevelof
electromagneticinterference,whichhoweverwillremainwithinthe
tolerancepermittedbylaw.Forthesereasonsweaskyoutoplease
observethefollowingprecautions:

Donotswitchonoroperateportabletransceiversor
