KitSound EXERT SPORTS
KitSound EXERT SPORTS are Bluetooth headphones that are also IPX4 splash resistant. This means that they can withstand light rain or sweat, making them ideal for use during workouts or other outdoor activities. The headphones have a built-in microphone, so you can use them to make and receive calls. They also have a 3.5mm aux port, so you can use them with devices that don't have Bluetooth. Battery life is up to 12 hours and the standby time is up to 60 days.

KS Exert is rated IPX4 splash resistant
This means that the KS Exert is splash resistant, but is not
impervious to larger amounts of water. If the KS Exert has
become damp/wet during use, we recommend drying it
o to help prevent any damage from occurring.

Instructions for use
Charging the battery
1. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the Micro
USB charging port (5) and plug into a power source
2. The LED indicator (6) will be red whilst charging,
and nish after around 2–3 hours. Once fully charged,
the LED indicator (6) will turn o
3. If the LED indicator (6) ashes red quickly every
30 seconds and a warning beep is heard, the battery is low
Note: The rst charge may take up to 4 hours to complete.
Pairing a Bluetooth device
1. Hold the MFB (2) down for 3 seconds. You will see the
LED indicator (6) ash blue and red quickly and then
enter pairing mode
2. Turn on your iOS, Android, or Windows device’s
Bluetooth ON and search for new devices
3. Select ‘KS Exert’ from the list of found devices. If asked for
a passcode, enter ‘0000’ and the headphones will then be
connected to your device
4. After pairing successfully, the LED indicator (6) will be solid
blue; you can then answer the phone or listen to your music
6. The next time you switch the headphones on, they will
automatically search for and attempt to connect to the
last paired device

1. Make sure you have turned o the Bluetooth on any
previously paired devices
2. Follow the ‘Pairing a Bluetooth device’ instructions
from step 1
Call handling
Answer a call Press MFB (2) to answer call
End call Press MFB (2) to end call
Playing music
Play/Pause Press (don’t hold) MFB (2) to start and
pause audio
Adjusting the
volume
Press and hold Volume+ (1) or Volume– (3)
to adjust volume. The volume can also be
adjusted on your device
Music selection Press (don’t hold) Next track (1) or
Previous track (3)
Wired use
1. Turn o the headphones
2. Plug the 3.5 mm aux cable into the 3.5 mm aux port (4)
and into your device
Note: Inserting an audio cable disables wireless functionality.

Removable earcups
Please do not wash the earcups in a washing machine.
The removable earcups are hand wash only.
Washing the earcups:
1. Gently remove the earcup by pulling it away from the headband
at the groove where the material meets the plastic
2. Once removed – take out the plastic backing from inside
the earcup

3. You can then hand wash the earcups with soap.
Please do not use bleach
4. Leave the earcups to dry naturally, do not tumble dry. When
the earcups have dried, re–insert the plastic backing making
sure it is the right way up according to the arrow,
and it is the correct side (left/right)
5. Now, simply clip the earcup back onto the headband, making
sure you are connecting it to the correct side (left/right). Make
sure that all 4 clips have snapped together, there should be
no gaps around the edge

Care for your Pouch with Adjustable Waistband
Please DON’T:
• Clean the Pouch with Adjustable Waistband with bleach
or detergents
• Dry clean your Pouch with Adjustable Waistband
• Put your Pouch with Adjustable Waistband into a
washing machine
Please DO:
• Hand wash your Pouch with Adjustable Waistband at
a low temperature

• Drop the Exert as this will invalidate your warranty
• Open up the Exert past the removable earcups.
There are no user serviceable parts inside

Battery information
• A rechargeable battery powers your device. Unplug the
charger from the electrical plug and the device when not
in use
• If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge
over time. We recommend a full charge twice a month to
ensure battery integrity
• Please do not leave the device in hot or cold places, such
as in a closed car in summer or winter conditions, as it
will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery
• Do not dispose of batteries in a re as they may explode.

Troubleshooting
• If you cannot connect the headphones to your device,
please try the following:
– Ensure that the headphones are charged, switched on,
paired with and connected to your device
– Check the headphones are within 10 metres (30 feet) of
your device and that there are no obstructions (such as
walls or other electronic devices) between the
headphones and the device
– The headphones can only pair to one device at a time, so
please ensure there are no conicting wireless devices
trying to connect to the headphones
• If the headphones will not switch o, you can reset them
back to normal by putting them on charge
• If you receive an intermittent signal, please ensure the
headphones are fully charged before continuing use

Please do not attempt to open this product. There are no user serviceable
parts inside. If your product has an embedded, non–replaceable battery, do
not attempt to access or remove the battery. This may cause personal injury
and will damage the product.
Making any attempt to open the product or carry out repair voids any
and all warranties.
