cable sh ow s th e ide al cable le ngth . D o not e xte nd th e cable be yond th e RED m ark .

• Pre s s th e O N/O FF button to sw itch th e appliance on. It is advisable to se t th e pow e r control to MIN be fore

sw itch ing on th e appliance .

• To re w ind th e pow e r cable , pre s s th e re w ind button w ith your foot, and guide th e cable w ith your h and to e nsure

th at it doe s not w h ip causing dam age .

• By m oving th e variable pow e r control, th e suction pow e r can be adjuste d *

MAINTENANCE

REPLACING TH E D USTBAG

• Me nalux brande d dustbags and filte rs are strongly re com m e nde d by Progre ss. Th ose h igh q uality bags and

• Alw ays ope rate th e cle ane r w ith th e dustbag installe d.

If you forge t to attach th e dustbag or attach it in th e w rong m anne r, th e dust cove r m ay not close com ple te ly.

BLOCKED AIRFLOW AND DIRTY FILTERS

• The cleaner stops automatically if a blockage occurs in the nozzle/tube/hose or if the filters are blocked with dirt.

• Disconnect from mains and allow the cleaner to cool for 45-60 minutes. Remove blockage and/or replace

filters.

• Restart the cleaner.

CLEANING / REPLACING THE FILTERS

• The dustbag must be replaced if the window of the dustbag full indicator is illuminated.

• Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled.

• Always operate the cleaners with filters installed to avoid reduced suction.

• Disconnect from electrical outlet before cleaning filters.

Cleaning the motor filter

24 Pull dustbag upward and remove the motor protection filter.

27 Rinse the filter under tap water and dry it completely.

24,19 Put the filter back into the cleaner and close the cover.

Cleaning the exhaust filter

25,26 Open the filter grill and remove the exhaust filter.

27 Rinse the filter under tap water and dry it completely.

26,25 Put the filter back into the cleaner and close the filter grill.

RECOMMENDED FILTERS:

Menalux Micro Filter: D09.

Menalux Motor Filter: D24.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

• Attempt to recycle packaging material and old appliances.

• The cardboard packaging can be placed in the waste paper collection.

• Deposit the plastic bag made of polyethylene (PE) at the PE collection point for recycling.

• Deposit the polystyrene foam at the PS collection point for recycling.

Recycling the appliance at the end of its life:

• The plastic components all carry a material identification marking so that, like the other materials, they can by

recycled at the end of the life of the appliance.

• Please inquire with your local authority.
