HOW TO USE THE OVEN
GENTLE REHEATING OR KEEPING
DISHES WARM
This oven function is particularly suitable for keeping
food warm after it has been cooked, or for slowly
reheating cooked food.
Switching on
1. Turntheovenfunctionselector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting between 50
o
and 250
o
C. The red
thermostat light comes on. It goes off again when
the temperature setting has been reached.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the “O”
position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to
x
, turning
it anticlockwise.
FAN-ASSISTED ROASTING AND
COOKING
This method is mainly suitable for large cuts or
considerable quantities which need cooking right
through (rolled roasts, turkey, leg of mutton, ham,
cakes).
Switching on
1. Turntheovenfunctionselector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting between 50
o
and 250
o
C. The red
thermostat light comes on. It goes off again when
the temperature setting has been reached.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the “0”
position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to
x
, turning
it anticlockwise.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OTHER
COOKING PROCESSES
Bottling
1. Completely fill the preserving jars (with tops that
seal well) with food.
2. Turntheovenfunctionknob
either way to the
position. The yellow light comes on to indicate
that the appliance is switched on.
3. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting of 185
o
C and preheat the oven.
The red thermostat light comes on. It goes off again
when the temperature setting has been reached.
4. Fill the drip tray with hot water.
5. Stand the jars on the drip tray, making sure that
they do not touch each other, and pour a little
water on to the tops.
6. Close the oven and lower the temperature to 135
o
C.
7. As soon as air bubbles begin to form in the jars,
switch off the oven and allow the contents to cool.
Grilling and browning
This is particularly useful for grilling without a spit. If
you place a few knobs of butter on the dish not long
before the end of the grilling time, the food will
become golden brown.

C and preheat the oven.
3. Place the meat on the grid and close the oven door.
4. Turn the thermostat knob to a temperature setting

C and 175
o
C.

position, turning it either way.
