Throubleshooting Tips
1. I connected the cameras, but not seeing any video images on the
camera grid.
If you are not seeing your camera images on the camera grid, it could be either
compatibility (cameras are not compatible with DVR), or your camera power
supply does not work and it needs to be replaced. Please contact our technical
support to check your camera compatibility with DVR.
5. Camera video images are black and white at daytime.
Inadequate light or power may cause the camera to record in black and white. If
the camera is in a dark area and there is not enough light, it may be displaying
in night vision mode. If that's not the case, it may be the camera power supply,
which needs to be replaced.
2. I connected DVR to the monitor with HDMI Cable, but the monitor
shows "no signal" message.
DVR Monitor resolution is set to "1280x1024", if the monitor resolution is lower
than the DVR Display resolution, it will show no signal message. In this case
connect DVR to the monitor using VGA Cable instead of HDMI, power on DVR,
lower DVR display resolution from the menu and connect by HDMI.
3. DVR is rebooting repeatedly.
4. Why the CCTV camera is flickering?
First of all, when you see your camera is flickering, check the camera power
supply. Secondly, If your CCTV camera wires or connection have shorts at
certain points, it can cause flickering of the camera. Carefully observe all wires
and find the damaged area. Immediately repair or splice it correctly because the
damaged part corrodes conveniently. For this purpose, you must ground or
cover the connections with electric tape.
This issue may be caused by insufficient power or a hard drive (HDD) error.
Check that the correct power adapter is in use. It must be 12V DC Power supply
3000mA for 8 and 16 Channels and 12V DC 5000mA for 32 Channels. If
replacing power supply adapter does not resolve the issue, check the hard drive
status Main Menu>Advanced>HDD info. If HDD status shows error, hard drive
probably has failed and must be replaced.
