Instructions for use

Charging the battery

1. Connect the micro USB end of the charge cable to the Micro USB charge port (5) and the standard USB end

to a PC USB port or USB mains charger

2. The LED indicator (4) will be red whilst charging, and the LED will turn blue when battery is full

Note: The rst charge may take up to 2 hours to complete.

Battery information

• Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device

when not in use

• If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. We recommend a full charge twice a month

to ensure battery integrity

• Please do not leave the device in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or winter conditions

as it will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery

• Do not dispose of batteries in a re as they may explode. Batteries may also explode if damaged

Pairing a wireless device

1. Start by holding the MFB (1) down for 10 seconds. You will see the LED indicator (4) ash blue and red, then

they will enter pairing mode

2. Turn on your iOS, Android, or Windows device’s Bluetooth ON and search for new devices

3. Select ‘KSOUTRUN’ from the list of found devices. If asked for a passcode, enter ‘0000’ or ‘1234’ and the earphones

will then be connected to your device

4. After pairing successfully, the LED indicator (4) will have a static blue light; you can then answer the phone or listen to

your music

5. The next time the earphones are switched on, they will automatically search for and attempt to connect to the last

paired device.

Re-pairing or pairing new devices

1. Turn o Bluetooth connectivity on any previously paired devices

2. Follow the ‘Pairing a wireless device’ instructions from step 1

Functionality

Power on Hold the MFB (1) down for 2 seconds

Power o Hold the MFB (1) down for 4 seconds

To answer a call Press the MFB (1) and immediately release

To end call Press the MFB (1) and immediately release

Redial Press the MFB (1) twice quickly to redial your most recent call

Volume+ Press and hold the Volume+/Next track (3) to increase volume

Volume– Press and hold the Volume–/Previous track (2) to decrease volume

Previous track Press the Volume–/Previous track (2) and immediately release

Next track Press the Volume+/Next track (3) and immediately release

Play/Pause Press the MFB (1) down and immediately release

IPX4 rating

The Outrun is rated IPX4. This means that the Outrun is splash resistant, but is not impervious to large amounts of water.

Please make sure that the protective rubber cover is secure. If the Outrun has got damp/wet during use, we recommend

drying it o to help prevent any damage from occurring.

Care for your Outrun

Please DON’T:

• Submerge the Outrun in water

• Drop the Outrun as this will invalidate your warranty

• Open up the Outrun. There are no user serviceable parts inside

• Expose the Outrun to extreme temperatures or rapid changes of hot to cold or vice versa

• Charge the Outrun if the headset/remote has got wet

Please DO:

• Clean the Outrun with a soft dry cloth and no detergents

Troubleshooting

• If you cannot connect the earphones to your device, please try the following:

– Ensure that the earphones are charged, switched on, paired with and connected to your device

– Check the headphones are within 10 metres (30 feet) of your device and that there are no obstructions

(such as walls or other electronic devices) between the earphones and the device

– Only one device may be paired to these earphones at a time, so please ensure there are no conicting

wireless devices trying to connect to the earphones

• If the earphones will not switch o, you can reset them back to normal by putting them on charge

• If you receive an intermittent signal, please ensure the earphones are fully charged before continuing use

• If you do not use the earphones for longer than 3 minutes whilst not connected to a device, they will automatically

power o to conserve power
