Instructions for use
Charging the battery
1. Plug the Micro USB charge cable into the Micro USB charging port (5) and plug the other end into power
2. The LED indicator (1) will be red whilst charging, and will go out after around 2 hours when fully charged
Note: The rst charge may take up to 3 hours to complete.

Call handling
Answer a call Press MFB (3) to answer
End call Press MFB (3) to end call
Re-dial Press MFB (3) twice in quick succession to redial
Decline call Press MFB (3) twice in quick succession while someone is calling
Playing music
Answer a call Press MFB (3) to switch between play and pause status
Volume Press Volume+ (2) or Volume– (4).
The volume can also be adjusted on your device
Re-dial Hold Next track (2) or Previous track (4) to skip between songs
Pairing a Bluetooth device
1. Hold MFB (3) for 3 seconds. The LED indicator (1) will ash blue 3 times and enter pairing mode by
ashing blue and red
2. Turn your iOS, Android, or Windows device’s Bluetooth ON and search for new devices, and select
‘KS Race’
3. If asked for a passcode, enter ‘0000’ or ‘1234
4. After pairing, the LED indicator (1) will ash approx. every 4 seconds. You can then answer the phone
or listen to your music
5. The next time you switch the earphones on; they will automatically search for and attempt to connect
to the last paired device
Re-pairing or pairing new devices
1. Turn Bluetooth o on any previously paired devices
2. Follow the ‘Pairing a Bluetooth device’ instructions from step 1

Battery information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug
and the device when not in use
If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. We recommend a full charge
twice a month to ensure battery integrity
Please do not leave the device in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or wintery
conditions as it will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery
Do not dispose of batteries in a re as they may explode. Batteries may also explode if damaged
Caring for your KS Race Bluetooth Earphones and Water Bottle
Please DON’T:
Get the KS Race wet
Drop the KS Race as this will invalidate your warranty
Open up the KS Race. There are no user serviceable parts inside
Expose the KS Race to extreme temperatures or rapid changes of hot to cold or vice versa
Charge the KS Race if the headset/remote has got wet
Drop the Water Bottle
Put the Water Bottle in a dishwasher
Put the Water Bottle in a microwave
Wash the Water Bottle at extremely high temperatures
Please DO:
Clean the KS Race with a soft dry cloth and no detergents
Hand wash the Water Bottle with warm water and washing up liquid without a bottle brush
Keep the Water Bottle out of direct sunlight

Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect the headphones to your device, please try the following:
– Ensure that the headphones are charged, switched on, paired with and connected to your device
Check the headphones are within 10 metres (30 feet) of your device and that there are no
obstructions (such as walls or other electronic devices) between the headphones and the device
Only one device may be paired to these headphones at a time, so please ensure there are no
conicting wireless devices trying to connect to the headphones
If the headphones will not switch o, they can be reset back to normal by putting them on charge
If you receive an intermittent signal, please ensure the headphones are fully charged before
continuing use
If you do not use the headphones for longer than 3 minutes whilst not connected to a device, they will
automatically power o to conserve power
