MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1 )
1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
If necessary, remove the old fixture, including the
mounting plate.
2. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the
parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any parts
necessary for installation.
3. Position the mounting plate (B) on the wall and mark
the location for the drywall anchors (N). Pre-drill the
holes for the drywall anchors (N) and insert them
into the wall.
4. Attach the mounting plate (B) to the outlet box (A)
and into the wall using the two screws (C). The side
of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
5. Place the wood screws (L) through the hole into the
plastic anchors (N) secure the mounting plate (B).
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
6. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown
in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are
secured. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or
bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly
to the mounting plate using the green screw
provided. After wires are connected, tuck them
carefully into the outlet box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
7. Place the fixture body (F) over mounting plate (B)
and fasten with screws (D) by using the allen
wrench (E) provided.
8. Install the light bulbs (not included) in accordance
with the fixture’s specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED
THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!) (NE PAS
DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE
MAXIMALE!)
9. Place the metal plate (K) and glass panel (J) into the
metal frame (M) and secure them with the plastic
washer (I) and screws (H).
10. Secure the metal frame (M) onto the fixture body
(F) by using screws (G).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to
the outlet box and test the fixture.
