PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
PleaseNote:Thecage(P),andxturebody(R)arepre-assembled.Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seetheimportantnotes
above.Shutoffthepoweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletelyremovetheoldxturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrapassembly.Oneendofnipple(F)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasher
andhexnut(CandD)inplace.Theotherendshouldhavecanopyloop(H)attached.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
4.Placexturebody(R)ontoaatsurface.Rod(N)isonthexture’swires,
butnotattachedtothebodyofthexture.Passthexture’swiresthrough
rod(N)andpullthewiresuntiltaut.Twistrod(N)ontothepostatthecenter
ofthexturebody(R)untilsecure.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrect
numberofchainlinksneededforproperhangingheight.Ifnecessary,use
apairofplierstoopenandremoveanyexcesschain.Attachonechain
connector(K)toeachendofchain(J).Useoneofchainconnectors(K)to
attachchain(J)totoploop(L)andclosethechainconnector.Hooktheend
ofrod(N)ontotoploop(L).Pullthewiresthroughtoploop(L).Feedthe
xture’swiresupthroughthechain(everythreelinksorso),pullingthewires
untiltaut.Slidecanopyloopcollar(H)andcanopy(G)ontothechain/wires.
Usethefreechainconnector(K)toattachchain(J)tocanopyloop(H).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
5.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthe
wiring.Cutawaytheexcesswires.Threadthexture’swiresthroughthe
canopyloopandnipple.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’s
wirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.
ConnectHottoHot,NeutraltoNeutral,andGroundtoGround.Twistthe
endsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Make
surealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwire
comingfromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemounting
bracket/mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthe
groundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)onto
thewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresinto
thejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
6.Raisecanopy(G)totheceilingandslidecanopyloopcollar(I)beneaththecanopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloopcollar(I)ontocanopy
loop(H)tosecurecanopy(G)inplace.
7.Attachthehooksofrods(M)totoploop(L).Liftcage(P)sothatrods(M)andxturebody(R)isinsideofcage(P).Holdcage(P)
upandhaveanassistantattachthebottomloopsofrods(M)tothehooksinsidecage(P).Donotletgoofthecageuntilallrodsare
attachedtocage(P).
8.Installlightbulbs(notincluded)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
