Dear Customer
The Operating instructions will allow you to become acquainted with your machine and pro-
vide clear information about safe and correct handling, maintenance and care. Take the time
to read the instructions all the way through.
The operating instructions are a part of the machine. They must be stored in an accessible
location at the workplace for the entire service life of the machine. The user must independ-
ently supplement the instructions regarding national regulations on accident prevention, traf-
fic safety and environment protection.
All persons that are entrusted with the operation, maintenance or transport of the machine
must read and understand these instructions, in particular the safety instructions, before be-
ginning work. Any warranty claims lapse on non-observance of these Instructions.
If you have any questions regarding the contents of these Operating instructions or further
questions regarding the machine, please contact your PÖTTINGER service partner.
Correct maintenance and care according to the defined maintenance intervals will ensure the
operational and traffic safety, as well as the reliability of your machine.
Use only original spare parts or spare parts and accessories that are approved by PÖTTING-
ER Landtechnik GmbH. Only original spare parts that are approved by us have been tested
and accordingly are appropriate for use in your machine. The use of any unapproved parts
forfeits any guarantee or guarantee claim. Even after the end of the warranty period we rec-
ommend using original spare parts to ensure the performance of your machine.
The Product Liability Law obligates manufacturers/dealers to transfer operating instructions
when selling machines, as well as to instruct clients regarding the safety, operation and
maintenance regulations concerning the machine. Confirmation in the form of a declaration
of transfer is required to verify that the implement and Instructions have been transferred cor-
rectly. The declaration of transfer is delivered together with the machine.
Every self-employed person and farmer is an entrepreneur within the meaning of the product
liability legislation. Therefore corporate property damage according to the Product Liability
Law is excluded from the liability of PÖTTINGER. Corporate property damage according to
the Product Liability Law refers to damage caused by the machine. Damage to the machine
is not property damage according to the Product Liability Law.
The operating instructions are a part of the machine, therefore you must transfer them when
selling/transferring the machine to a new user. Train and instruct the new owner in the regu-
lations stated.
The PÖTTINGER service team wishes you the best of luck.

Unload the machine by crane
Attachment points for lifting gear
Hitching points in the seed hopper
Hitching points for the loading platform
Implementation
Open the rolling lid. See "Cover and valves" on page 246.
Carefully attach the lifting gear to the hitching points in the seed hopper and at the load-
ing platform.
Remove the fastenings from the loading surface.
Lift the machine from the loading surface.
Remove the lifting gear and close the rolling lid. See "Cover and valves" on page 246.
Unload the machine by forklift
To be able to unload the machine by forklift, there may be loading aids installed, or they can
be installed. If the loading aids are not yet installed, comply with the installation instructions
of the loading aids.
Implementation
Remove the fastenings from the loading surface.
Using an appropriate forklift, attach the machine to the loading aids. To do that, place
the forks in the loading aids, as shown.

Remove corrosion protection
TIP
Machines that are treated with preserving agents can be recognized by the yellowish wax-
like layer on the surface. For untreated machines, please skip this chapter!
To protect our machines from corrosion damage caused by salt, a preserving agent (Multicor
LH3 Plus, Hersteller Fa. Zeller+Gmelin) should be applied to the entire external surface.
Safety data sheet is available on request from the Pöttinger Client service and the manufac-
turer of the preserving agent.
ENVIRONMENT
Preserving agent and cleaning agent must not be released into the environment and sew-
age systems.
The preserving agent is to be washed off only in a washing facility with a functional oil sep-
arator!
WARNING
Risk of personal injury!
Danger of slipping when accessing the machine.
Health risk through contact with the spray when washing the preserving agent off.
Health risk through contact with the dewaxer provided.
Fire danger through inflammable liquids.
Do not access machine (and machine parts when machine is partially disassembled).
When washing the preserving agent off, always wear personal protective equipment
(protective suit, splash goggles, nitrile gloves, rubber boots, breathing mask with parti-
cle filter). Also refer to the preserving agent safety data sheet and the attached safety
data sheet for the dewaxer provided.
When working with a dewaxer or preserving agent, there must be no fiddling around
with a naked flame, no eating or drinking, no sniffs or smoking.

NOTICE
Danger of property damage
Hot water high pressure cleaning can cause damage to the paintwork, the electrics and hy-
draulics.
Fire danger through inflammable liquids.
Max. water temperature of 80°C / 176°F
When using a high pressure cleaner, observe the safety sticker on the machine and do
not point it directly at the distributor, job calculator, chains and bearings. Replace any
safety stickers that may be missing after washing before operating the machine.
Observe the minimum distance of 30 cm from the high pressure cleaner spearhead to
the painted surfaces, hydraulic hoses, cables and tyres.
When working with a dewaxer or preserving agent, there must be no fiddling around
with a naked flame or smoking.
Implementation
Before mounting the machine fully remove the preserving agent. Only use the dewaxer provi-
