x Indoor domestic use only: this appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only.
Do not use it outdoors. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats.
x Intended Purpose: Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended

When using electric appliances always observe safety regulations where applicable to

Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Supply Cord and Plug
Always unplug from mains supply when not in use. Do not abuse or damage the power
cord. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not carry by the cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around
sharp edges or corners. Do not run vacuum cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces.
When cleaning or putting the appliance away, switch off the appliance and always pull
out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable)
Double Insulation Safety
This appliance is double insulated for your protection. Do not attempt to repair a
double insulated appliance.

Use and Environment
x Do not leave unattended while in use.
x Do not use outdoors.
x Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening or outlet
blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce airflow.
x Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from
openings and moving parts.
x Do not vacuum any sharp-edged, hot or incandescent materials.
x Do not use to pick up flammable or toxic liquids, such as gasoline, chlorine
bleach or drain cleaner, or use in areas where they may be present.
x Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes,
matches, or hot ashes.
x Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
x Unplug vacuum before connecting the hose.
x Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dust container or dust filter in place.
x Do not vacuum any flour, cement etc., in order to avoid overloading the
appliance.
x This appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and is not
suitable for commercial or industrial use.
Do not use this appliance for any purpose other than those stated in this manual.
Supervision
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Damaged or Dropped
Always inspect your appliance before use. Check parts are correctly attached. Do not
use this appliance if it has been damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water.
Return it to an authorised service dealer for examination and repair.
Water
Do not immerse appliance or supply cord in water. Do not handle with wet hands or
use in damp situations. Do not expose to rain. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do
not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. Do not use appliance to dispose of wet or damp
materials such as mud, tile grout, plaster filler, or caulking.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Always empty the dust bin after vacuuming carpets, fresheners, powders and fine
dust. These products clog the filters, reduce airflow and can cause damage to the
vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could cause permanent damage to the Vacuum
cleaner.
Do not use the Vacuum cleaner to pick up sharp hard objects, small toys, pins, paper
clips etc. They may damage the Vacuum cleaner.
Do not operate the Vacuum cleaner without the exhaust filter and filter door in place.
Hold the plug when re-winding onto the cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when
rewinding.
You are responsible for making sure that your Vacuum cleaner is not used by anyone
not able to operate it correctly.
This vacuum cleaner is for household use only.

ASSEMBLY
Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories!
Hose Assembly/Disassembly
x Insert the flexible hose into the suction inlet
at the front of the appliance.
x Press until it clicks into position.
x To release the flexible hose, firmly squeeze
the release buttons on both sides and pull out
from the suction inlet.
Tube and Floor brush Assembly
1. Simply insert the tube into the available end
of the flexible hose handle and insert the
floor brush to the other end of the tube.
2. Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired
length by sliding the telescopic tube
adjustment button in the direction of arrow
and extend or retract the adjustable tube.

OPERATION
1. Before you start the appliance, make sure that all filters are installed.
2. Attach all required accessories onto the vacuum
3. Fully unwind the power cord. A yellow mark on the power cable shows the ideal
cable length. Do not extend the cable beyond the red mark!
4. Plug the power cord into a suitable 220-240~50-60Hz outlet.
5. Press the ON/OFF button to switch the appliance on and off. And select the
required speed setting.
6. The suction can also be modified by using the manual air flow adjustment valve
located on the hose handle. Open it to reduce suction at the nozzle and close to
restore suction.
7. When finished press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the Vacuum cleaner and
disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
8. To rewind the power cord, press down on the cord rewind button with one hand
and guide the power cord with the other hand to ensure that it does not whip
causing damage or injury.
Floor brush
Adjust the floor brush based on the type of floor. Use the brush position switch to
switch to position A (extracted brushes): for hard floors or position B (retracted
brushes): for rugs and carpets.

CLEANING and MAINTENANCE
EMPTYING THE VACUUM CLEANER
The dust container should be emptied after each use or when there is a noticeable loss
of suction
Always unplug the unit from electrical outlet before removing the dust collection
system.
x Disconnect the flexible suction hose.
x Press the dust container release button (1)
x Lift out the dust container from the Vacuum
Cleaner. (2)
x Hold the dust container over a rubbish bin or
other suitable area for collecting the contents
of the barrel.
x Press the dust container door latch to open
the dust container door. (3)
x The contents are emptied from the bottom of
the dust container.
x Carefully knock the remaining dust loose.
x Close the dust container door securely.
x Place the dust container onto the vacuum
cleaner. check whether the dust container is
securely seated.

CLEANING THE FILTERS
WARNING! The plug must be removed from the power socket before any
maintenance or filter replacement.
IMPORTANT The filters must be cleaned regularly for best suction performance and
to prevent overheating leading to damage to your vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning is best done at the same time as emptying the dust canister after you have
finished vacuuming for the day.
NOTE Never use the vacuum cleaner with wet or damp filters or without all filters
fitted. Using wet or damaged filters will cause damage to your vacuum cleaner and
may void your warranty.
CLEANING THE DUST CAN FILTER
x Turn off and unplug the Vacuum cleaner.
x Remove the dust container.
x Open the dust container cover and take the
filter out. Separate the sponge filter from the
cloth filter.
x For a quick clean, gently knock both filters
over a dustbin shaking the dust free.
x For a more thorough clean please refer to
washing the filters below.
x Reassemble the sponge and cloth filters and
place back on the top of the dust can.
x Close the dust can lid ensuring it clicks into
place.
x Place the dust container onto the vacuum
cleaner.
x Check that the dust container is securely
seated.

CLEANING THE EXHAUST FILTER
The exhaust air filter cleans the air a final time
before it leaves the vacuum cleaner. You can
clean the exhaust air filter as follows:
x Switch off the vacuum cleaner and
disconnect the plug from the mains. To do
this, always pull on the plug and not on the
cable.
x Remove the dust container.
x Open the exhaust filter cover and remove
the HEPA filter from the back.
x For a quick clean, gently knock the HEPA
filter over a dustbin shaking the dust free.
x For a more thorough clean please refer to
washing the filters below.
x Put the exhaust air filter back into place.
x Close the exhaust filter cover and replace the
dust container onto the Vacuum.
x
WASHING THE FILTERS
Regularly cleaning your filters will help avoid
blockages and overheating your Vacuum cleaner
motor. This should be done every 5-6 vacuums
depending on usage.
x Follow removal instructions above, remove
dust can filters and exhaust HEPA filter.
x Gently bang the filters over a dustbin to
remove excess dust.
x Wash the filters in warm mild soapy water,
rinse in clean fresh cold water and allow to
x dry.
x Dry the filter for at least 24 hours after
washing it. Do not use the filter if it is wet
or damp.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
All filters should be checked regularly for signs of damage, preferably after each use.
The filters must be replaced immediately if they become damaged. Always disconnect
the vacuum from the electrical outlet when checking the filters.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a plug and a cord, which rolls up automatically.
If any of these parts get damaged, it must be repaired by a qualified repairman or
electrician.

CLEANING THE VACUUM CLEANER
x When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
x Never immerse the motor unit or cord in water or any other fluid, not rinse it
under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
x To clean the exterior, or to reduce static electricity and dust build-up, wipe the
outer surface of the Vacuum cleaner and attachments.
x Use a clean soft cloth that has been dipped in a solution of mild liquid detergent
and water, then wrung dry.
x Wipe dry after cleaning.
NOTE: Do not use harsh solvents to clean the plastic.
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any
servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified
appliance repair technician.
Store in a Safe Place
When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and instruction manual in
a safe and dry place
x You can lift and carry the vacuum cleaner using the carrying handle. Never pull or
lift the vacuum cleaner by the cord.
x Before putting the vacuum away, rewind the cord. Switch off the socket, unplug,
and press the cord rewind button until the cord is fully rewound.
TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO YOUR VACUUM CLEANER
x Never unwind or rewind the cord while the vacuum cleaner is turned on or
plugged in, this may produce arcing of the terminals in the cord rewind
mechanism and cause an open circuit.
x Do not extend the cable beyond the red mark.
x Be sure to check that all filters are correctly in place before use.
x If the hose inlet, the hose, tube or nozzle attachments are blocked, switch off the
vacuum cleaner. Clear the blockage before you attempt to start the vacuum
cleaner again.
x Do not obstruct the air outlet. Do not operate this vacuum cleaner with it standing
on its back side i.e. air outlet sitting on the ground. Only operate this unit when all
3 wheels are on the ground.
x Before you start using the vacuum cleaner, remove any large or sharp objects
from the floor in order to prevent damage to the floor brush, tube, hose, and
filters.
