A. Turn on your TV, and select the input (e.g. HDMI 1, HDMI 2,
etc.) that you plugged the HD box into in Step 2-D. You may
see a blue box appear on your TV or a “no signal “message -
don’t worry, this is normal. On the HD box display panel you
will see “0000” “boot” and will stop at noCP message.
C. Activate your HD box online by visiting myaccount.shaw.ca. Login or
register if you do not have an account. Once signed in, under TV section,
please select Self-Install TV equipment and follow the instructions on
your screen. The activation process will take approximately 10 mins.
During this time, messages (OCAP, APP, ChIP, PSLd, etc) will display on the
front panel of your HD box. Your HD box will be “ready” when the front
panel displays the current time, and is powered off.
IMPORTANT - don’t disconnect power or press any buttons on the set top or
remote during activation, as it may interrupt the process. If you do not have
Internet access, or need additional help, please call us at 1-844-574-7429.
B. Your HD box will be “ready” for activation
once “noCP” displays on the front panel.
