GENERAL INFORMATION

This document contains installation instructions for the fireplace

log kit used with Envy direct‑vent gas fireplaces. This procedure

should be followed during initial appliance setup and when

re‑installing the log set after the annual cleaning and inspection

cycles.

Use care to prevent breakage when handling the logs. Once

heated by the fireplace, these logs are very fragile.

1. Use the fireplace remote control to ensure the fireplace is OFF.

2. Remove the top louver.

3. Remove the left and right side finish trim gap fillers.

4. Remove the surround trim assembly by detaching it at the

top of the fireplace and lifting it 1 in. to disengage the side

tabs, then pulling it away from the fireplace exposing the

front glass door.
