BrandMotion FLTW-7614 is a rear vision camera with optional gridlines for 2004-2014 F-Series trucks. This camera is designed to help you see behind your vehicle when you're backing up, and it can be a valuable safety feature.

Please read thoroughly before starting installation and check that kit contents are
complete.

Plastic Trim Removal Tool
Soldering Iron & Solder (Recommended)
Small grommet or Silicone (If needed)
Vehicle service manual (If needed)
Safety Precautions:
Work in well ventilated area that is clear of obstructions.
Secure vehicle with tire chucks in both front and rear of tires.
Turn vehicle accessories OFF and ensure ignition key is in OFF position.
Wear safety goggles and snug fitting clothes.
Use tools only for their intended purpose and which are in good repair.
Only perform this task if confidence, skill, and physical ability permit.

1. Disassemble tailgate and remove current tailgate
bezel assembly.
2. Transfer lock assembly and install new tailgate
bezel.
3. Route camera harness through the hole in bottom of
tailgate. Drill hole if one does not exist.
RECOMMENDED: Protect camera harness from any
sharp metal edges by applying a small amount of
silicone caulk or a rubber grommet.
4. Connect camera harness to supplied chassis
harness. The optimal location for this junction may
occur under rear bumper.
5. Wrap connection with electrical tape to ensure tight
connection and seal from environment.
IMPORTANT: Ensure harnesses moves freely with
the tailgate.
6. Route chassis harness forward. Zip tie along existing
wire harness. Make sure harness does not get
pinched and is away from hot or moving
components.
7. Route chassis harness into truck cab through
existing body plug. Drill hole if necessary.
RECOMMENDED: Protect Camera Harness from any
sharp metal edges by applying a small amount of
silicone caulk or a rubber grommet and to seal cab
from water.
8. Using a vehicle-specific service guide/wiring diagram
and a multi-meter, verify 12v reverse or ignition
power source. Red wire of power harness connects
to 12v+ Ignition or reverse power and black wire of
power harness to black chassis ground nut or wire.
RECOMMENDED: Solder wires and cover with heat
shrink tubing.
9. Use wire ties to secure chassis harness up to vehicle
display.
10. Connect chassis harness male RCA connector to RCA
located on your display.
11. Coil any excess chassis harness and secure it to
existing vehicle wiring with wire ties or electrical
tape.
12. Test system. Close tailgate and clear all removed
items from around the vehicle before starting the
vehicle. Next, shift into reverse and check radio
display for the camera image.
13. Reassemble vehicle. Follow your disassembly steps
in reverse order, taking care not to bind the harness
wiring when reinstalling trim.
Gridline options: The camera’s default setting
displays gridlines. To remove the gridline
display, connect the two green wires near the
end of the Camera Harness. This will remove
the gridlines once the camera is repowered.
