This document presents the Admin Modes of the Botheng Lockers. It applies to anybody who need to perform actions or
maintenance on Botheng Lockers.

By default, the screensaver screen is displayed.
Screensaver
When users initially see the touch screen, they will be prompted to tap anywhere to start.
From this screen, users can enter into any available mode:
Resident
Admin Mode
Courier Mode
Welcome Screen
Users will be prompted to enter a unique code, which will take them to the proper mode (for example, resident or courier
mode) based upon the code entered.

About Us
If users select the “?” in the upper right hand corner, they will be brought to the screen containing additional information
about Botheng Lockers and contact information for Technical Support.
Locker System Error
In the event there is an error with the system, the screen to the right will appear, prompting the user to contact Technical
Support.

Using ‘IT’ login code
1. From the home screen on the kiosk, type your code as
prompted then hit “ENTER”.
For the Admin Mode, the code is a unique 5-digit number
that will automatically send the user into the Admin
Mode.

action(s) to be performed.

1. From the home screen on the kiosk, type your code as
prompted then hit “ENTER”.
For the Admin Mode, the code is a unique 5-digit number
that will automatically send the user into the Admin
Mode.
2. Choose one of these three menus depending upon the
action(s) to be performed.
Each menu contains a set of additional actions, explained
in greater details on following paragraphs.

Using ‘PROPERTY MANAGER’ login code
1. From the home screen on the kiosk, type your code as
prompted then hit “ENTER”.

Using ‘ENGINEER’ login code

Admin Actions Tab: Drop-Down Menu Options4.1
Admin > Actions > Open Box
This option allows the end-user in “ADMIN MODE” to open a single locker box within a locker.
To open a box, select the box according to its assigned number, then click “ENTER”.
Locker = collection/bank of boxes
Box = single locker
Kiosk = screen + lockers altogether
Control unit = computer/screen
Admin > Actions > Open All Boxes
This option allows the end-user in “ADMIN MODE” to open all boxes within a locker system.
To open all boxes, choose this mode then click “START”.

Admin > Actions > Clear All Boxes
This option allows the end-user in “ADMIN MODE” to mark all packages contained within boxes in a locker as picked up.
To mark all packages as picked up, choose this mode then click “START”.

Admin > Actions > Sync Data
This tab contains “SYNC” options which are used to sync between the portal database and the locker database.
Example: If an occupant is added, “SYNC” will ensure data is updated so that a locker is aware a new occupant exists and
lockers can be used for deliveries to that new occupant. This option works from both locker to portal as well as portal to
locker.
Available options include:
All data
• Couriers
Property Units
• Occupants
• Kiosk
• Lockers
Property packages
• Property
• Boxes

Admin > Actions > Test Camera
This mode allows the user to test the external camera to ensure it is working properly.
From the “ADMIN” drop down menu, upon selecting this option the user will see a live picture as seen from the camera
attached to the unit.
Admin > Actions > Change Theme
Using this option will allow the user to customize the look and feel of the home screen.
Upon choosing the primary, secondary, and third colors, click “SAVE COLOR” in the box to the left of each color. Upon
choosing each color, click “ACTIVATE COLORS” to change the theme.
The “DEFAULT COLORS” option will be options customer chooses prior to delivery.

Using this option will allow the user to search for a resident by occupant name.

Maintenance Tab: Drop Down Menu Options4.2
Admin > Maintenance > Hardware Configuration
Using this option will allow the admin to verify USB connections and configurations.
Admin > Maintenance > Package Maintenance
The Package Maintenance tab presents the following three options:
1. Check Discovered Packages: This option adds records for boxes with discovered packages in the database.

2. Remove Discovered Packages: This option shows the number of discovered packages and should open the boxes of those
discovered packages.
Performed by property manager.
3. Advanced: Depending upon when this is used, this will perform different actions.
Used Before Checking for Discovered Packages: Advanced will open all boxes with two discrepancies:
- Something is detected in the box but not recorded in the database.
- There is an entry in the database, but nothing is sensed in that box.
Used After Checking for Discovered Packages: Advanced will only open the boxes where nothing is recorded in the
database.
