Before proceeding with installation, check that all the parts required are present. The packaging

A P P L I C AT I O N
This 7.1 Sound Card is perfect for home theatres and entertainment. Enjoy an intense and
matchless 3D audio experience.
Standard 5.1, 2.1 and 2.0 channels can be configured for 7.1 sound. Thanks to the advanced
controls for adjusting the surround sound, the ambient noise and the equaliser, you can adjust the
sound output exactly as you wish. The line-in/microphone effects include among other things,
a karaoke mixer, voice scrambling and echo. The sound card is suitable for the future sound
standards for 7.1 channels and is equipped with digital S/PDIF stereo input and output.
H A R D W A R E I N S TA L L AT I O N
Take the following precautions before installing the hardware:
Ensure the PC is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. After unscrewing the
computer casing, you may install the 7.1 PCI sound card in a free PCI slot, after removing the metal
protective plate. After installing the card, you may re-install the computer casing cover and correctly
reconnect all the cables that you have removed from the PC.
After installing the hardware and restarting the computer, the ‘New Hardware Found’ wizard will
appear. Press “Cancel”.
I N S TA L L I N G T H E S O F T W A R E
Place the CD provided in the CD drive, go to START -> Run and enter one of the following
commands, where ‘x’ represents your CD drive.
For Windows 98SE, 2000 og XP
x:\driver\windows\setup.exe
For Windows Vista
x:\driver\vista\setup.exe
The following screen will appear, click on “Next” to continue.
Click on ‘Next’ to continue.
If applicable, accept the tick-marks indicated below, and click on “Next”.
The driver will now be installed.
Click on “OK” to restart the computer. The sound card is now ready to use.
