Before starting installation, first check that all necessary parts are present.

A P P L I C AT I O N O P T I O N S
With this ICIDU PCI Express eSATA adapter, you can quickly and easily extend your PC with an
eSATA connection. You can connect external hard disks, external DVD burners or other eSATA
devices to your PC.
H A R D W A R E I N S TA L L AT I O N
Take the following precautions before installing the hardware:
Ensure that the PC is switched-off and that the mains voltage is disconnected. After you have opened
the computer casing, you can install the eSATA card in a free PCI-X x1 slot, after removing the protective
metal plate. After installing the card, you may replace the computer housing cover and reconnect all
the cables you disconnected from the PC earlier.
When you've restarted the computer, Windows will automatically detect the new hardware.
After installing the drivers, the eSATA PCI-X adapter is ready for use. We advise you to restart your
computer before using the eSATA PCI-X adapter.
