1. Safety instructions
Read these safety instructions and the operation manual rst before you install and commission the camera.
Keep the manual in a safe place for later reference.
Protect your camera from contamination with water and humidity to prevent it from permanent damage. Never switch the camera on when it gets wet.
Have it checked at an authorized service center in this case.
Do not operate the cameras beyond their specied temperature, humidity or power ratings.
Operate the camera only at a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and at a humidity of max. 90%.
To disconnect the power cord of the unit, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
Pay attention when laying the connection cable and observe that the cable is not subject to heavy loads, kinks, or damage and no moisture can get in.
Do not attempt to disassemble the camera board from the dome.
The warranty becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons.
Use a dry cloth to clean the dome surface. In case the dirt is hard to remove, use a mild detergent and wipe gently.
Note: This is a class A digital device. This digital device can cause harmful interference in a residential area; in this case the user may be required
to take appropriate corrective action at his/her own expense.

1. Use the enclosed screws (M6) with O-type sealing rings and dowels to secure the enclosed mounting plate to the wall or ceiling.
2. Type EDC-OPS/C: If the housing is mounted in the outdoor area or in an area with intense insolation, the sunshield
112
(metal bubble) is placed
over the indoor housing
102
. The hexagon spacer bolts with internal screw thread
106
are pre-assembled on the internal housing.
Type: EDC-IPS/C: The system does not contain a sunshield
112
(metal bubble); no hexagon head screws are assembled on the indoor housing.
3. Wrap the enclosed Teon tape
520
around the screw thread of the pipe (respectively approx. 20 wraps).
4. Push all required cables through assembly plate
101
and tube.
5. Screw the tube wrapped in Teon tape into the enclosed assembly plate until rmly in place. If the length of the tube exceeds 1m, a metal socket
must be screwed in-between. Every extension must have a PT1 1/4"-screw thread.
6. Camera bracket
200
is pre-assembled in the indoor housing
102
and must be unscrewed. Insert the drop shaped indoor housing
102
into the
tube and twist until rmly in place.
7. Connect 24VAC-cable for heater and fan (outdoor housing only) to the connector board
400
; lay onward from the connector board to the dome
camera (cables are not enclosed).
8. Rescrew camera bracket
200
to the indoor housing. Connect the external video cable (with BNC-connector) to the video cable of the dome
connector plate.
9. Screw dome connector plate of the camera housing into the spacer bolts with internal screw thread of the camera bracket
200
by means of the
3 enclosed screws. Connect power supply and data cable to the contact strip with the plug of the camera.
Note: When connecting several cameras, the second 24VAC-connector can be used as an output.
10. Install dome-ID (identication) (refer to operating instructions of the dome camera)
11. It is recommended, not to assembly the dome enclosed with the camera and to remove the window in front of the lens (refer to g. A and B).
12. Insert the dome camera into the dome connector plate. The indicator „lock open“ must thereby snap into place in the nib of the connector plate.
Twist the dome camera to the right until a clear click can be heard. Check whether the camera is securely in place.
13. Remove safety strip from the dome camera.
14. Insert bubble

with housing ring
104
incl. sealing ring
103
(the components
105
,
104
and
103
are provided pre-assembled as 1 component)
into the indoor housing
102
(M4-screws
107
are enclosed). For easier insertion or removal, the sealing ring should previously be treated with
talcum or the like. The 3 nibs in the ring serve as a guide on insertion into the internal housing.
