1. Safety instructions

• Protect your camera from contamination with water and humidity to prevent it from permanent damage. Never switch the camera on when it gets wet.

Have it checked at an authorized service center in this case.

• Do not operate the cameras beyond their specied temperature, humidity or power ratings.

• Operate the camera only at a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and at a humidity of max. 90%.

• To disconnect the power cord of the unit, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.

• Pay attention when laying the connection cable and observe that the cable is not subject to heavy loads, kinks, or damage and no moisture can get in.

Do not attempt to disassemble the camera board from the dome.

• The warranty becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons.

• Use a dry cloth to clean the dome surface. In case the dirt is hard to remove, use a mild detergent and wipe gently.

1x Allen key 2mm for grub screw

3x screws M4x8

3x screws, tapping 4mm with O-type sealing ring

1x headless screw M4x4 for securing the housing to the pipe

1x Teon tape

Outdoor housing for cameras of the Fastrax series for wall and ceiling mounting

• Standard version with heater, fan and sunshield

• Housing with tinted bubble: 6.8” (172mm), EDP No. 74078

• Housing with clear bubble: 6.8” (172mm), EDP No. 74076

3x screws, self tapping 4mm with O-type sealing ring

1x grub screw M4x4 for securing the housing to the tube

1x Teon tape

1x silicone (for sealing between mounting surface and mounting plate on the housing)

1. Use the enclosed screws (M6) with O-type sealing rings and dowels to secure the enclosed mounting plate to the wall or ceiling.

2. Type EDC-OPS/C: If the housing is mounted in the outdoor area or in an area with intense insolation, the sunshield

4. Push all required cables through assembly plate

and tube.

5. Screw the tube wrapped in Teon tape into the enclosed assembly plate until rmly in place. If the length of the tube exceeds 1m, a metal socket

must be screwed in-between. Every extension must have a PT1 1/4"-screw thread.

7. Connect 24VAC-cable for heater and fan (outdoor housing only) to the connector board

Note: When connecting several cameras, the second 24VAC-connector can be used as an output.

10. Install dome-ID (identication) (refer to operating instructions of the dome camera)

11. It is recommended, not to assembly the dome enclosed with the camera and to remove the window in front of the lens (refer to g. A and B).

12. Insert the dome camera into the dome connector plate. The indicator „lock open“ must thereby snap into place in the nib of the connector plate.

Twist the dome camera to the right until a clear click can be heard. Check whether the camera is securely in place.

13. Remove safety strip from the dome camera.
