Product Change Notice:

3M™ Ribbon Cable Socket, 2mm x 2mm, 158 Series

Dear Valued Customer:

3M has learned that our supplier has discontinued manufacturing the copper alloy

used to make the IDC contacts for 3M™ Ribbon Cable Socket, 2mm x 2mm, 158

Series. The products affected are covered in tech sheet, TS-2358.

3M is working expeditiously to qualify an alternative material offering the same or

better performance. There may be a gap in supply while the lab qualification tests are

completed. 3M regrets any disruption to the supply of product that may be caused

while the new contact material is tested and evaluated.

A separate announcement will be issued detailing when 3M™ Ribbon Cable Socket,

2mm x 2mm, 158 Series with the new contact material will be available to ship.
