Installation procedure
Introduction
This procedure describes how to install the protective screen and replacement bezel
on the display.
The protective screen can be clipped between the display’s bezel and the LCD panel.
However, because of tolerances in the size of the bezel and the protective screen, it
may be possible that the protective screen does not fit in the bezel that is actually on
the display. For that reason, Barco has sent a matched replacement bezel together
with the protective screen.
To install bezel and protective screen, remove the actual bezel, install the
replacement bezel, and then install the protective screen.
To install the bezel and protective screen
Important: Perform this procedure in a clean environment.
Proceed as follows:
1 Put the display in portrait orientation.
2 Unscrew the 4 screws fixing the bezel, using a screwdriver Torx T10.
3 Pull to release the bezel from the display. Be careful: The bezel is still
connected to the display by the LED connection.

4 Unplug the LED connection and remove the bezel.
5 Put the replacement bezel in place. Important: Do not forget to connect
the LED connection again.
6 Push to clips the bezel onto the display.
7 Fix the bezel by the 4 Torx screws.
8 Clean the LCD panel with a lint-free, nonabrasive cloth. The cloth can be
lightly moistened with water or a cleaning solution containing no
ammonia. Moisten the cloth, not the panel!
9 Important: Put on the gloves included in the packaging to avoid
fingerprints on the protective screen.
10 Peel off the protective film from both sides of the protective screen.
11 Apply the suction cup included in the packaging to the protective screen.

12 Position the bottom of the protective screen in the opening between the
bezel and the bottom of the LCD panel.
13 Push the top side of the protective screen forward while pulling the suction
cup backward, so that the protective screen bends.
14 Slide the top side of the protective screen in the opening between the bezel
and the top side of the LCD panel while slowly releasing the suction cup.
15 Carefully remove the suction cup. Clean any marks from the suction cup on
the protective screen.
To remove the protective screen
1 Apply the suction cup to the center of the protective screen.
2 Pull the suction cup so the protective screen pops out of the bezel.
3 Carefully remove the suction cup. Clean any marks from the suction cup on
the protective screen
Cleaning instructions
Clean the protective screen with a lint-free, nonabrasive cloth. The cloth can be
lightly moistened with water or a cleaning solution containing no ammonia.
