BLOTZ B28-RU-001 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Ruined Building B28-RU-100 model kit. This document outlines the assembly process, detailing how to put together the walls, floor, stone blocks, doorframe and shutters. I'm ready to help you with any questions about the model and its construction.
  • What type of glue is required?
What tool is needed to remove sections from the sprue?
What can be used to hold pieces together while the glue dries?
28mm Ruined Building #1
B28-RU-100
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
A full-colour copy of these instructions can be found on our website: www.blotz.co.uk
First remove the two inside walls and the floor
section from the sprue.
Apply a little glue to the straight edges of the floor,
and to the lugs on the walls. Glue them together as
shown above. Leave to dry.
Remove the two outer walls and glue them to the
inner walls so that the edges, walls and doorway
all align.
Remove the two corner block pieces from the sprue
and glue together to form an ā€œLā€ shape (etched
detail outwards).
Glue the corner block into position as shown
above.
Glue the two long stone block sections into place,
so that one end is flush with the corner blocks.
Remove the doorframe and the shutters from the
sprue.
Glue the doorframe to the outside edge of the
door. The shutters can be positioned as you wish
alongside the windows.
